Satyra is a really nice athlete, almost like a running back on the basketball court. She has a strong frame, nice length, and she plays with speed, quickness, and even some bounce at her size. When she can get out in the open floor, she runs by opponents, with or without the ball. She can knock down a rhythm jumper, plus she defends with a great deal of urgency. She can pressure the ball out on the floor, but she will also get inside and rebound at her size. As she continues to learn how to change gears, she could become a real headache to defend, if she isn’t already.

Scott played with great pace and aggressiveness throughout the AAU season, consistently attacking defenders and creating offense in transition. Her quickness with the basketball allows her to get downhill effectively, and she does a great job making plays once defenses collapse.

She also showed strong growth as a playmaker this spring. Scott demonstrated the ability to read defenses, make accurate passes, and control possessions while still remaining aggressive offensively. Defensively, she brings energy and toughness that impacts the game immediately. Her competitive nature and ability to influence games on both ends of the floor helped her stock rise significantly this spring.

During the 5-man weave drill, she stood out with the way she ran the floor, covering ground quickly and consistently. Her effort and conditioning were evident, showing that she can sustain a high level of play over extended stretches an asset that will benefit her team in both transition offense and defense. Offensively, Satyra showcased a crafty skill set. She used effective ball fakes to get defenders off balance and create scoring opportunities for herself. Once she attacked the paint, she demonstrated poise and control, often landing on two feet to maintain balance and read the defense. From there, she not only looked for her own shot but also showed good vision by finding teammates in the opposite corner for catch-and-shoot opportunities. Her ability to balance scoring with facilitating made her a reliable presence with the ball in her hands. Last season, Satyra was the third-leading scorer for the Wildcats, but as she continues to grow into her role, she is positioned to become one of the top guards in the area. With her blend of conditioning, offensive creativity, and court awareness, she will play a key role in Kokomo’s success this season and has the tools to be a leader on both ends of the floor.

Satyra is a strong-for-her-size, tough-nosed, hard-working, ball of energy on the floor. She has solid ball skill, the ability to create and facilitate, but she is also a multilevel scorer who can bury a 3-pointer or get to the basket and finish in traffic. Learning to change speeds could be huge for her offensive game. Defensively, she is solid but will gamble for steals at times, but when locked in, she has the physical ability to be a lockdown on-ball defender.
