Selina put herself on our radar with a breakout performance at the Michigan State Showcase. She has the length, strength, and versatility needed to play the guard, wing, and forward spots. Selina is relentless on the boards, attacks hard off the dribble to get to the rim, finishes well around the basket through contact, makes smart reads off the ball, pins defenders deep to get high percentage looks, and uses excellent footwork in the paint to score. She disrupts shots on the defensive end and will be a playmaker to follow at Ionia this winter.

Selina was a notable newcomer and breakout player who had me thinking “who is that girl” during the PGH Michigan State Showcase. During drills, Selina drove by defenders to score layups and demonstrated great footwork inside, scoring with effective step-throughs. She moved her feet extremely well and used her length to force missed shots without fouling. In the games, Selina sprinted in and outworked opponents to secure rebounds on both ends. She attacked off the dribble to cause fouls and scored contested layups. Selina sealed defenders in the paint with a strong stance, caught entry passes with good hands, scored an impressive up-and-under layup, and knocked down many free throws with confidence at the line.
