About Sofia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a tough post player who isn't afraid of contact down low. I grind for rebounds and set screens to get my guards open for jumpers.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I enjoy keeping the team motivated and excited. I will show up early and stay late to get better and support my team in any way. I love being part of a team and keeping morale high even in tough situations.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I received a partial academic scholarship to Bishop O'Connell High School. I was President of St. Mark Catholic School during the 2024 - 2025 academic year.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I was class ambassador during my 6th and 7th grade academic school years before becoming school president in 8th grade. I was awarded the Catholic Citizenship award in 2025 by the Arlington, VA Knights of Columbus. As President of St. Mark Catholic School I helped organize and lead multiple community service projects such as our school's Soup-er Bowl where we collected food for a local food pantry
