Defensively, she can guard both in the paint and on the perimeter, making her one of the more complete frontcourt players around.

Sorelle played with nonstop energy and made winning plays every time down the floor. She has a feel for the game and makes things easier for her teammates with her decision-making. When left open, she can consistently knock down shots and make teams pay.

Sorrelle comes into this matchup with an advantage in the paint against Fort Collins, where her size and strength could be difficult to handle. She establishes position well around the rim and finishes through contact. When defenses collapse, she has the awareness to kick out to shooters on the wing, forcing tough decisions on every possession.

Sorrelle has been one of the stock risers this season because of how much she’s meant to her team. She’s defending well in the post, finishing through contact around the rim, and running the floor hard in transition. That consistent motor and physical presence have elevated her overall impact.

She is an all-around presence for her team on both ends of the floor. Defensively she can anchor the paint as a help side defender and force guards into bad reads. On offense she moves well around the rim and finishes with a soft touch.

Sorelle runs the floor extremely well and has soft hands around the rim. She plays well through contact and is great in the pick-and-roll game. Throughout the weekend she was constantly looking for ways to help her team win, no matter the role.

This upcoming junior will be needed a lot this season to control the paint. She was active on both ends rebounding, protecting the rim, and scoring with her back to the basket. Sorrelle’s physicality and effort were consistent all weekend.

Sorrelle is an underrated post with a versatile scoring package whether it’s finishing through contact or stepping out to knock down a jumper. Her rebounding and motor create extra chances and fuel the break.
