After dominant showings for Beaverton over the summer and a PGH Freshman Showcase MVP performance in August, Taryn earned the #3 spot in our first 2029 ranking release. Her immediate impact on the court for the Beavers in week one comes as no surprise to us. Taryn’s 27 points (56% FG%, 75% FT%), seven rebounds, five assists, three steals, and two blocks during a 67-57 win at #5 Sacred Heart were crucial in a statement win. She followed with a double-double: 28 points (57% FG%), 13 rebounds, four steals, four blocks, and one assist in a 64-34 home win vs. Midland Bullock Creek. Taryn contributed in every category with 55 points, 20 rebounds, seven steals, six assists, and six blocks in two wins for the Beavers.
