Presley is a lanky and skilled guard who stepped up big time for Mystics 15U P24 on Sunday. She chased down rebounds, handled the ball confidently under pressure, facilitated, attacked off the dribble to score layups, and showed her ability to knock down the open three. Her all-around impact helped the squad end the weekend as Diamond bracket champs.

Presley made an immediate impact at Powers Catholic as a freshman and was a key contributor during their run to the State Semifinals. She has a high basketball IQ on both ends of the court. Presley doesn’t force what isn’t there. She shoots the ball confidently from the outside, distributes accurate passes to open teammates, uses her length to cause deflections on the defensive end, and can handle the ball under pressure. Presley runs the floor well and has a ton of potential as a guard at the next level.

Schriner is set to be a strong two-way contributor for the Chargers this season. A long and smooth combo guard, she keeps the defense on their heels with her ability to attack the rim while also being reliable from outside the arc. Her confidence handling the ball under pressure and vision to find open teammates will be key assets for Powers. On the defensive end, Presley brings great on ball pressure, making it difficult for opponents to find easy looks. She’ll be an exciting and impactful freshman addition to the lineup this year.

Schriner is great two-way player for Powers Catholic. She does a great job of using her length and quickness on the defensive end by sprinting back to recover in transition and get her hands on the ball for a steal. Not just a great shooter, but a great passer as well ready to attack the defense and get her team in a good position to score. A must watch player coming up this season.

Presley is a promising guard prospect, and she had a productive day for Team 6 at the Freshman Showcase. She started with a smooth wing three during 3v3 and closed out quickly to block a shot in 5v5. Presley handled the ball confidently with both hands, using a variety of dribble moves to create space, but also made quick passes to open teammates when driving lanes were closed. Presley dished out assists to open teammates when her shot wasn’t there and threw a great outlet pass up the court after securing a defensive rebound. She can fill it up from three-point range and is going to be an impactful two-way player for Powers Catholic this winter.
