Jordann Oakland of Cedar Falls High School will be a value piece this Winter to their overall game-plan on the Varsity floor, just like she has been the last few years. Oakland is a talented prospect at the SG position. She is really solid playing off the ball as an able producer from all offensive levels and she holds her own defensively as well as someone that can beat her opponents to their spots coming down the court. Oakland will be looked upon to be one of her team’s leaders this upcoming season for her Senior year. If she can do that and play with confidence, she is going to love how her high school career comes to a close before playing at the next level one day.

Jordann Oakland had her moments last weekend during Live Period. She made some easy attempts in a few contests and played better than average defense from her SG position. During the high school season Oakland is one of her program’s main weapons on offense. On this AAU team she is still working to find her place with other really talented individuals surrounding her but that’s all going to happen in due time. I’m sure the next time we see all these AAU teams competing that they will look 10x better in all facets just because of their time together during practice and such. Keep an eye on Oakland. She has some potential and I have a feeling she is going to turn it up for her Senior year at Cedar Falls.
