In her last season of club ball before heading off to the University of Denver next year. With Mountain West, Tori played well on and off the ball but her off ball play was the most impressive. She hunted for space within the defense and got the shots that she knew she could make. In addition to that her willingness to get teammates open is something that goes unnoticed she is always setting screens or creating some action on the weakside.

Baker provided a steady, patient offense for Premier, effectively facilitating this group in the halfcourt. Methodically reading the defense to make the right pass, she showed yet again she is a great floor general. Off the bounce, she was a dependable decision maker versus pressure, capable of stepping into pull-ups against an ideal matchup.

Although Bakers year didn’t go as planned, she was still able to maintain her offensive presence for her team. With 15.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game. This season was asked to lead a young unexperienced team into the postseason. Something that was new to her, but she made do. So much so they next year go from prey to predator, as Highlands will be one of the state’s top teams to beat.

Highlands Ranch #16 versus Fort Collins #17
Baker’s leadership and playmaking value consistently propel this Highlands Ranch group, going 14-9 on the season. Her ability to make great plays while under pressure helps stabilize them in the halfcourt, setting this group up for success. An excellent perimeter shooter off the catch, opponents will need to close out the guard early off the catch.

Coming into the new season Tori was asked to be more of a leader on the court which meant keeping her teammates engaged on both side of the ball. With Highlands Ranch surprising people by making ,it to the Great 8 I’ll say she did just that.

Tori is an elite lockdown defender at the guard spot. Her on-ball defense and lateral movement standout first about her. She’s also an offensive contributor at 9.2 ppg. and dished-out 3.9 apg. Her passing ability might be overlooked but she makes the smart pass after the drive and can make some not-so-simple passes that lead to points. Continuously gets in the lane and is a scoring and passing threat. A college level prospect and a winning player that will benefit a program.
