Whitney is a guard for Team 1 who showed different pieces of her game throughout the 5v5 action. She connected from behind the arc, showing her ability to stretch the floor. After securing a defensive rebound, she immediately pushed the ball up the floor with her head up, looking to advance the offense in transition. Around the basket, Whitney also displayed good footwork, using her steps well to maneuver through traffic and create opportunities to finish.

Whitney is going to be a playmaker at the high school level. Her ability to create off the dribble, slash to the hoop, finish, and sink pull-up jumpers stood out during games for The House ‘] 14U at the PGH Michigan College Tour IV. Whitney used a shifty inside-out dribble to create the space she needed, then buried a smooth pull-up three from the top of the key. She drove hard from half-court, got the angle, protected the ball with her shoulder, and went up strong to score an and-one layup through contact. Whitney drained a mid-wing jumper, split a gap for a speedy left-handed bucket, and drove hard again for another layup. She’s a very crafty and skilled guard ready to make an impact year one.
