About Zoe

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Zoe is a teammate and leader first. She started primarily as a shooter, and worked heavily on her post play for much of the past year, and now finds herself as a developing three-level scorer. On defence, she takes up a lot of space leading to high block and deflection rates. Zoe is a patient and composed player who often performs better in high-stress, high-competition settings.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

On the court and in practice, Zoe is the ultimate teammate and leader, who will always celebrate and put forward her teammates first. Off the court, she is light-hearted and at times goofy but knows when it is time to lock in on her preparation and academics.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Zoe recently played Grade 10 high school basketball at one of the top Atlantic Canadian schools, and will be re-classing to play in Massachusetts this year. She previously won the Sportsmanship award for her entire middle Athletics, and was a co-captain on her summer travelling team.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Zoe has developed a strong sense of teamwork and leadership that is evident wherever she goes, from basketball camps, the classroom, to sleep away camps. She has had many strong mentors over the years who have emphasized team-first habits that been engrain into who she is. She often puts others success over her own, and is reliably a champion for everyone to win.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Zoe is quite pragmatic when presented with challenges that others may justifiably struggle with.

What type of college are you looking for?

Zoe is transitioning to the US this year from Canada, with the intent on extending her opportunities within the Ivy League, and will remain open to all opportunities as begins her journey.

Zoe brings positional value with her versatile skillset. She’s long, draws contact well, has range and can defend multiple positions. It would be superb to see her put more of an emphasis on becoming a perimeter ball-stopper in 2026. The tools are all there with Hunter, it’s just about finetuning some to get the best version of herself. There’s a lot of potential here with Zoe and she’s definitely a player not to overlook moving forward.
