What do you think has been key to your success in basketball?

I think the only way to be successful is to know your goals and just work hard until you reach them. You have to stay focused and not let an off day or bad game bring you down.

In what ways do you feel you’ve improved this summer?

Over the summer I have improved my shooting from the three and have started to extend my range further beyond the three point line. I’ve also been working a lot on ball handling.

What areas of your game are you focusing on improving?

I’m trying to focus a lot on becoming more comfortable handling the ball with multiple defenders and finishing when a help defender comes.

You recently received an offer from Central Michigan University. How does it feel?

CMU is such a successful program, I’m nothing but blessed to know that they want me to be part of their program!

What are you looking for in a college?

I’m looking for a college that has a medical program, an overall family atmosphere, great coaches and players, and a successful basketball program.

What are you most excited about as far as college basketball and your recruitment?

As far as recruiting, I’m excited to commit to a school and start to create friendships with the players and my future teammates. When it comes to college basketball, I’m most excited to be part of a team that wants to win as badly as I do and be willing to put the work in.

What advice would you give girls trying to reach the success that you’ve reached?

I would say that you have to love the game. You have to keep pushing yourself to get better, and be confident in your skills.

How are you preparing for next season?

For next season, I have been preparing by getting into the gym as much as possible and getting up good reps. I’ve also been lifting twice a week all summer so I can come into the next season a lot stronger than I was before.

What are your goals for next high school season?

My goals for this next high school season would be to win a state championship with my team! We have been so close the last two years, I really want to win one.
