Here is Part 2 in our look at some prospects in Michigan who saw their stock rise this summer:
Jasmine Edwards (2020, SF, Westland John Glenn, HYPE Lady Hoopers)
Edwards contiued her trend of being a big game clitch performer. She’s an elite athlete that can lead a break or finish from the wing. Edwards also showed a tough mid range game.
Carly McCrum (2021, G/F, Bay City John Glenn, Michigan Cagers)
Crum continues to prove that she’s a top notch talent in Michigan’s class of 2021. Everyone knows that she can flat out shoot. McCrum really showed her versatility this summer. She aggressively attacked the rim and had a nice little floater from mid range.
Olivia Toderan (2021, PG, Clarkston, PR1DE)
Toderan showed her skills at the lead guard all summer long. She guided the offense and delivered high percentage passes. Toderan’s ability to lead in an efficient manner grabbed the attention of onlookers.
Morasha Wiggins (2021, G, Kalamazoo Central, Michigan Crossover)
Even at the top, it’s still possible to see your stock rise. Wiggins has rose on a national scale this summer and that has shown with a flurry of high major offers. She’s displayed her aggressive game on both ends of the floor. Wiggins has been great in transition and explosive all over the floor offensively.
Lexus Bargesser (2022, PG, Grass Lake, Michigan Premier)
Bargesser had excellent performances all summer long. As an example, she was named to the Battle In The Boro All Tournament Team. Bargesser is a speedy guard that can push in transition with both the dribble and the pass. She’s also proved to be a solid ball handler.
