Escanaba Top Scorers:
Taylor Ray (2020) scored 17 points and Nicole Kamin (2021) followed with 15 points. Kamin, Grand Valley State University commit, hit a game winning buzzer-beater while being double teamed.
Negaunee Top Scorers:
Maggie Strehlow. Photo: Iron Mountain Daily NewsAlyssa Hill (2022) had her best offensive performance with 24 points to lead the Miners. Hill also had an exceptional night on the defense by grabbing 14 rebounds.. Chloe Norman (2020) added 11 points
Ishpeming 48, Kingsford 31
Ishpeming Top Scorers:
Madisyn Mead with 14 points, Emma Porier chipped in 13
Kingsford Top Scorers:
Maggie Strehlow scored 13 points for the Flivvers.
Munising 68, Superior Central 31
Munising Top Scorers:
Megan Matson led with 30 points and Jenna Matson added 16 points. The Matson sisters create a unified sense of leadership for the Mustangs.
Gwinn 50, Iron Mountain 40
Gwinn Top Scorer:
Marissa Delmont (2020) scored 15 points leading Gwinn to it”s first conference season open win in over 10 years.
Iron Mountain Top Scorer:
Claire Mongrain (2021) scored 12 points in the loss to Gwinn. Mongrain is expected to play a huge role this season as Gwinn is rebuilding their team after losing 5 senior starters.
Jeffers 51, Republic-Michigamme 13
Jeffers Top Scorers:
Miranda Heinonen (2021) led with 17 points and Dayna Johnson (2020) added 14 points.
