Charity Wilson penetrates to the hole.Charity Wilson – Chatham – Guard
Charity is a skilled guard who can score and play aggressively on the defensive end to cause turnovers, turning them into transition points. She scored 22 points, including 1 three-pointer, in a 68-39 win against Alleghany in the 2C Regional quarterfinals. Charity also contributed 13 points in a hard-fought overtime loss to Martinsville who made it to the Region Championship.

Alexis is a 5’5 guard who has an all-around game, scoring 14 points in a quarterfinal game against Radford. She followed up that game with a 26 point performance, including 4 three-pointers to beat Gretna in the semi-finals and advance to the Region Championship. Alexis is a great defender who plays the passing lanes to get steals and use her court vision to make some nice passes, setting her teammates up for easy points. She is a knockdown three-point shooter but can also drive to the hole and finish strong with either hand.

Ty’Nasia is a 5’8 scoring machine, averaging about 20 PPG. She has come off of 2 knee injuries, but have made a statement for herself this season. Her shooting is phenomenal, she can pull up from behind the arc with ease and create her own shot off of the dribble. Ty’Nasia scored a career-high 45 points, in which she knocked down 9 three-pointers, to win the District Championship. In the quarter-finals of the regionals, she scored 23 points, including 2 three-pointers, to beat Patrick County. Ty’Nasia didn’t stop there, she came out and scored 37 points, shooting 7 three-pointers, for a tough loss in the semi-finals to Floyd County. She can pass the ball well, play smart defense with getting steals, and stays on the boards, averaging around 7 RPG.

Makeyla is a 5’6 guard with tons of speed, she uses her speed to play good defense to get up and down the court, scoring in transition. She can also step out and knock down shots from behind the arc. Makeyla is averaging over 18 PPG, scoring her 1000th career points, last week. She scored 18 points, including 8 rebounds and 5 steals in the regional quarterfinals to beat Patrick county.

Sierra is a 5’10 center who runs the floor extremely well, finishing strong around the basket. She is averaging around 20 PPG for the season, scoring 25 points in the first round of the playoffs against Glenvar to lead her team to a win and move on to the quarterfinals. In a tough quarterfinal loss to Gretna, Sierra scored 18 points, including her 1000th career points.
