Labrea Carter is a versatile offensive player with a lot of skill. Because of her strength and physicality, She is a great driver. When she drives, Labrea attacks slower defenders and knocks shots over smaller defenders. She can also bully smaller defenders in the paint and is a true three-level scorer.
Nevaeh Roberson is the lone player on this team who isn’t a Sophomore. She just finished her freshman season at Georgetown Visitation, and she has a lot of room to grow as a player. Nevaeh is a player who should take a huge jump this summer, and it will be fun to see how her game grows this AAU season. Nevaeh is an elite talent playing a year up on a talent-filled team. She is already highly touted, but I could see her taking a leap in her sophomore season, and this summer could be the start.
Staying in the Roberson family, Cai Roberson is good at almost anything you ask of her. She defends at a high level and plays as hard as anyone. She is a good passer and has a high IQ. She can score from all over the court, and it’s no surprise she is one of the best Sophomores in the state.
Bishop McNamara is losing one of the best players in the country in Madisen McDaniel. They still have a lot of talent in their backcourt, but they will be looking to replace some of that production, and one of the players they’ll look at is Kasey Robinson. Kasey is already a tremendous defender. She is a pest and has terrific instincts. Kasey is a good finisher and a solid spot-up shooter. Kasey is a player that could take a huge jump and have her role significantly bigger next season.
Kiersten Rurka is a solid player who does well on either end of the court. She is a great ball holder and a polished scorer. Kiersten can play either guard position at a high level, score 1v1, and be effective without the ball.
Highlights
Miya Semenuk
Miya Semenuk
Miya Semenuk is a tough, hard-nosed player for Woodbridge. Miya is a great defender who makes plays on that side of the ball. She rebounds the ball well for her size and always makes her mark in a game, even if she’s not scoring. She can knock down open shots and is the type of player every coach loves.
