Smithfield-Selma SG Khaliyah Peacock
Colleges looking for a shooter needs to pay attention to this young lady. She has shot over 40% from behind the arc for the last two years and has pro-level range. At 5-8, she has a good frame to take contact and finish in the lane when she puts the ball on the floor.
Smithfield-Selma PG Zniah Thaggard
She’s silky smooth with the ball and can shoot on the catch as she shot 42.8 percent from 3-point line. She’s a smooth lefty with solid court vision and can make passes into tough spots. Thaggard also has good lateral movement on the defensive end.
Princeton CG Meredith Wooten
As competitive of a player as you will see. She’s led Princeton to two straight conference titles and plays her best when the game is tight. She’s efficient at shooting off the catch and off the dribble. She’s great at setting up teammates and gets into the lane easily. On the defensive end, she plays with plenty of heart and her athleticism really makes it tough to score on her. She is a multi-sport athlete so it’s not clear if she will pursue volleyball, basketball or softball.
North Johnston SG Arial Pearce
A smooth shooter who can defend her position. Pearce also has a good handles and is a good enough athlete to get to the basket off the dribble and finish through the contact. She is a D-1 softball recruit as well.
South Johnston SG Janay McDonald
McDonald is a solid shooter with a lot of upside. She’s a good athlete, but don’t think she’s used it enough to get to the basket. She’s a good defender and could be a good player for JUCOs.
