Shayana Portee: The 5’2 rising senior guard was an All-Conference selection, much to do with her being a stat sheet stuffer. Around 11 points per game, 4 assists, rebounds, and steals, she just does what she can to help her team win. She shoots the 3 ball pretty consistently (over 30%), and recorded herself a triple-double with points, rebounds, and steals. She is quick with the ball in her hands, and a lock down defender. She plays AAU for the NC Gems organization.
Madison Cole: The 5’7 rising sophomore guard is a gritty player. She is yet another stat sheet stuffer, with 6 points per game, 3 assists, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals. She is a hustle player, coachable, and does what her team needs of her to help win games. She recorded 2 double-doubles this last season, including her career high 22 points with 10 rebounds. With 3 more years left to play, she will continue to keep getting better and should be on coaches radars.
Kennette Bass: The 5’6 rising sophomore guard started off her freshman season on fire. The first 7 games of the season she was scoring in double-digits, including a 19 point performance. She averaged nearly 11 points per game, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists. She was good at getting to the free-throw line, attempting over 70 on the year and converting over 60%. She has good court vision and a pretty high IQ. In 8 different games she had 4 assists. She plays AAU for the NC Gems organization.
Aaliyah El: The 5’7 rising sophomore guard nearly averaged a double-double in her freshman season, 10 points and 7 rebounds. 5 out of the last 6 games she recorded a double-double, including a 21 point and 20 rebound win. She was a 3rd team All-conference selection as well. In 8 different games this last season she tallied 4+ steals. She has an extremely bright future ahead of her for the next 3 seasons. She plays AAU for the NC Gems organization.
Zoey Ward Zoey Ward 5'11" | CG Concord Academy | 2023 State NC : The 6’0 rising junior forward was the conference player of the year. She really is a special player. Averaging a little over 15 points and 7 rebounds per game as a sophomore, she put on many great performances this last season. 8 games scoring 20+ points, including a 30 piece. She shoots the 3 ball well (over 35%), 5 different games with 3+ makes. She also recorded 5 double-double’s, including her season high 18 rebounds in a win. She should be on college coaches radars as is, but if she is not…you are welcome. She plays AAU for the SC 76ers Black organization.
