Delanie Hill – Providence HS – Lady Attack Elite
Guard play was in bountiful supply this past weekend at Carolina Jam Fest. Hill, a guard from Charlotte-Mecklenburg County was one of those. Lady Attack had a strong showing in Columbia and Hill was a catalyst for that outing. She scored 12 points in its 57-30 victory over 1Dream 2023 and her ball handling, passing and shot selection was a reason why her team advanced to the tourney’s championship game with Lady Team South Carolina.
Chloe Moss – Independence HS – Lady Attack Elite (pictured on the front)
Lauren Galvani, the head coach of the Patriots’ girls basketball team will be very pleased her program made this addition. Moss has strong ball handling and dribbling skills and finishes strong at the rack. Watching her develop over the years she will spend at Independence High will be a treat for that program and for Patriots fans.
Jerin Truesdale – Alexander Graham M.S. (previously) – Lady Attack Elite
Between Moss and Truesdale, Lady Attack Elite’s 2024 rendition presents and imposing presence in its frontcourt. Truesdale brings true skills despite somewhat flying under the radar. She can do the things that will show up on a stat sheet – such as score and block shots and the things that do not necessarily show up such as battle for rebounds and hustle for loose balls.
Zoey Ward Zoey Ward 5'11" | CG Concord Academy | 2023 State NC – Ashbrook HS (Gastonia) – Hoopaville
Palmetto State basketball fans are wise to keep close watch on rising stars that hoop on the other side of the Carolinas as well. Ward is one of those. Listed at an even 6’0, that translates athletically well as she is another dual sport athlete (basketball and volleyball). Ward possesses the ability to get high-percentage shots, drive to the basket and rebound like a power forward, but also sink long-range jumpers like a point guard. Impressive skillset.
