Class of 2021 Rankings: Jacob’s New Additions (Part Two)

With every Rankings update, our staff likes to highlight new players that have been added to the rankings in each class. Here are several from the Class of 2021 that have been included in the newest update: <ol start="82"> <li><strong> [player_tooltip player_id="200460" first="MK" last="Drevline"], 5'8” Guard, Grayslake Central</strong></li> </ol> Drevline is an outstanding three-point shooter with a quick release and great feel for the game. She is a high-IQ Combo Guard with good ball-handling skills and excellent passing abilities. MK shows confidence with the ball in her ability to drive and pull up for mid-range jumpers or finish strong at the rim. <ol start="83"> <li><strong> [player_tooltip player_id="198915" first="Alison" last="Kickel"], 5'10” Forward, Naperville North</strong></li> </ol> A versatile Small Forward who can stretch the floor, Kickel has shown that she can have a consistent impact on the game from both ends of the court. The [program_tooltip program_id='716186' first='M14' last='Hoops'] Senior is physical in the post and has good touch in the lane, while also being able to knock down jumpers from outside. Alison can also defend multiple positions on defense, using her strength and quick feet to match up with a variety of opponents. <ol start="89"> <li><strong> [player_tooltip player_id="200897" first="Molly" last="Fisher"], 5'4” Guard, Lake Forest </strong></li> </ol> Fisher is a rock-solid Point Guard with a very well-rounded game on offense. She is a confident ball-handler with speed and quickness, and the ability to score from all three levels. Molly is a terrific passer and all-around team player who does anything that is asked of her. <ol start="91"> <li><strong> [player_tooltip player_id="200461" first="Samara" last="Swire"], 5'5” Guard, Lincoln-Way East</strong></li> </ol> Swire is a skilled Point Guard with good athleticism and a defensive prowess. Her agility and quick hands help her make opposing ball-handlers uncomfortable and she comes away with steals often. Samara can shoot the ball well from deep and uses her speed to have success in the transition game. <ol start="97"> <li><strong> [player_tooltip player_id="200879" first="Brianna" last="Hernandez"], 5'8” Guard, Maine West</strong></li> </ol> Hernandez is an intelligent player with a consistent all-around game. She is a high level shooter from the outside and moves well without the ball to put herself in the position for her teammates to find her. Brianna plays sound defense and constantly looks for opportunities to set her teammates up for success. <ol start="106"> <li><strong> [player_tooltip player_id="201093" first="Josylin" last="Doxie"], 5'7” Guard, Proviso West</strong></li> </ol> A strong Combo Guard who handles the ball well against pressure, Doxie uses terrific court vision in the open floor. She is an excellent passer and finishes confidently around the rim. Josylin is a plus shooter from three and does a good job breaking down defenders in the half court to get in the lane and make plays. <ol start="107"> <li><strong> [player_tooltip player_id="200462" first="Amarii" last="Mays"], 5'10” Forward, Evanston</strong></li> </ol> Mays is an athletic Post who runs the floor well with good feel and control. She has nice touch in the post and uses her athleticism and length to create easy looks at the hoop. Defensively, Amarii can guard Posts well and step outside to guard the perimeter when called upon. <ol start="111"> <li><strong> [player_tooltip player_id="198916" first="Dionna" last="Brooks"], 5'5” Guard, De La Salle</strong></li> </ol> The 2020 3A Three-Point State Champion, Brooks is a consistent threat from beyond the three-point line. The Chicago Hoops Express Combo Guard has plenty of range and confidence from deep, and isn't afraid to drive on defenders who step out too far. Dionna is a high-IQ player who makes plays all over the court to help herself and her team. <ol start="116"> <li><strong> [player_tooltip player_id="201107" first="Isabella" last="Ogliore"], 5'10” Forward, Loyola Academy </strong></li> </ol> Ogliore is a talented stretch Forward who has a polished interior game and can also make plays from the wing. She uses her strength and athleticism to get good position on the block and scores with nice touch. Isabella is a sound ball-handler who can get in the lane with ease and knock down jumpers at a consistent rate. <ol start="117"> <li><strong> [player_tooltip player_id="201094" first="Savanna" last="Childress"], 5'5” Guard, Trinity</strong></li> </ol> A Point Guard who can play on or off the ball due to her skillset on the perimeter, Childress is a talented ball-handler who does a nice job leading on offense. She handles the ball well in pressure and can beat her defender one-on-one to get in the lane and make plays. Savanna can shoot the three well and finishes strong at the hoop through contact.
