Neiel Young: The 5’7 guard, class of 2023, from Westminster Catawba Christian school started off her sophomore season with a bang. She scored 20 of her teams 34 points in their season opener, and tallied 7 steals. She is a scrappy defender, she proved that her freshman season when she averaged a little over 3 steals per contest. She plays hard, reads the floor, and makes plays for her team on the defensive end. She is a player to keep watching over the next 3 years.
McKenzie Taylor: The 5’4 point guard, class of 2023, from Concord Academy has proved herself to be a 3 point threat thus far. She also has been tough on the boards for being her size and position. On top of that, she is able to dish it out to teammates as well.
Janiah Shular: The 5’8 small forward, class of 2023, from Gaston Day School is picking up where she left off. She had a great freshman season and is starting off her sophomore campaign with a bang. Another hardworking player who leaves her fingerprints all over the game she is playing in. She dropped 17 points and tallied 7 steals in the season opener. She is just going to keep getting better over the next 3 seasons.
Zoey Ward Zoey Ward 5'11" | CG Concord Academy | 2023 State NC : The 6’0 forward, class of 2023, from Concord Academy is a rim protector. With 4 blocks in her first win of the season, and snagged 3 defensive rebounds, she can make a name for herself as a defensive threat moving forward. She is definitely someone who will keep getting better over the next 3 seasons.
