After a look at the players selected a season ago to the first, second, and third teams of the Eastern Kansas League, we will now shine light on returning honorable mention selections. Here's a quick look at the seven returners in order by class and last name.

[player_tooltip player_id="186600" first="Abby" last="Dunsmore"], 6'0", PF, St. James Academy -- Dunsmore is described my her high school coach as a hard working, versatile player who is also a shot blocker.
[player_tooltip player_id="123469" first="Megan" last="Edwards"], 5'7", SG, Blue Valley Northwest, [program_tooltip program_id='715643' first='Kansas' last='Elite'] 17U Zars -- At this past July's MAYB Reign the Plains tournament Edwards showed many reasons why Washburn University landed a commitment from her. A fast, hustling guard with good bounce she is a dangerous three point shooter off the catch. With quick hands who gets down the floor off the steal, she handles well with either hand and has IQ to pull it out and swing the ball rather than forcing the play.

[player_tooltip player_id="123529" first="Sameera" last="Elmasri"], 5'10", W, St. Thomas Aquinas, [program_tooltip program_id='712586' first='KC' last='Dream'] -- Elmasri is a solidly built three point shooter who also has the ability to finish off the dribble drive with either hand.

[player_tooltip player_id="123468" first="Claire" last="Worthington"], 5'7", SG, St. James Academy -- Worthington set the school record for points in a game with 34 a year ago. PGH's Joel Webb regards her as a elite level shooter with a quick release and unlimited range. She is also a good ball handler and defender.

Found playing on the top of presses she has quick feet and hands to rip away her share of steals for scores or assists. I enjoyed watching her defend a very strong wing for Victory Christian (MO) at a <span data-sheets-value="{"1":2,"2":"MAYB Tournament (7.11.20) - Elevates well on rebounds. A terrific rebounder who does it with elevation. Burns had seven offensive rebounds, eight boards total, in the Stags' 4A state championship quarterfinal win over Chapman.

Adrianna Smith, 5'10", SF, Bishop Miege, 2022 - With [player_tooltip player_id="90133" first="Ashton" last="Verhulst"] graduated this could be Smith's year to command either forward position. She has the handles and range to play on the wing. But with her strength and headiness to slice the passing lane to cutters, Smith creates problems inside on both ends of the floor. She finished behind teammate [player_tooltip player_id="191200" first="Allie" last="Burns"] with seven total rebounds in last March's state quarterfinal win.
[player_tooltip player_id="158577" first="Charlotte" last="O'Keefe"], 6'2", F/C, St. Thomas Aquinas, 2022 -- Active on both ends of the floor, O'Keefe is a strong, long and great rebounder who elevates well.
