Faith Carson Faith Carson 6'4" | C Buchanan | 2023 State MI (C, Buchanan)
This seems like a fairly easy one. She’s one of the top post prospects in the country. Who wouldn’t want to build around that? As dominant as she is in the paint, ome thing that really impresses me is her passing ability from the perimeter. Carson just sees the floor so well.
Regan Finkbeiner Regan Finkbeiner 5'5" | PG Hemlock | 2023 State MI (PG, Hemlock)
Finkbeiner may have been a freshman last season, but she sure didn’t play like one. She took the reigns a s a point guard and did some really nice things right away. She’s an old school floor general with a twist of bucket getter mixed in.
McKenna Macon McKenna Macon 5'8" | PG Lawton | 2023 State MI (PG, Mattawan)
It’s always nice to build a team and program around a polished lead guard. Macon has a nice feel for the game and can both score and dish efficiently. Macon isn’t afraid of a challenge or big moment, as evidenced by her playing up an age group all summer and fall during grassroots basketball.
Adelyn Moore Adelyn Moore 5'10" | SF Caro | 2023 State MI (SF, Caro)
Moore is the type of basketball player and student that you would want your younger players to emulate. She’s a high IQ player that always seems to play under control. Don’t let her fool you though, she’s a natural competitor.
Shamya Reid Shamya Reid 5'5" | PG Westfield Prep | 2023 State MI (PG, Westfield Prep)
Reid is one of the most electrifying point guards in the state. She drives the lane and finishes or dishes with flare. Players love to play with her because if they’re open…..she will find them. If they aren’t open, she can put the ball on the floor, draw the defense, and make them open.
DeAndrea Smith (SG, Flint Carman-Ainsworth)
Smith has been getting a ton of coverage lately, and don’t expect it to slow down. Any coach would want this downhill athlete to lead the their program into the future. Smith is a 3 level scorer that can break a defender down off the dribble as well as power her way to the rim with a physical straight line drive.
Mia Zorski Mia Zorski 6'0" | C Clarkston | 2023 State MI (C, Clarkston)
From everything that I’ve heard, she’s a consummate team player. Zorksi will help her teammates get press clippings, but her team will need her to pick up W’s. Let’s not forget, she’s a really talented post player with a lot of upside.
