As the season begins to take shape, this holiday break is the perfect time to start looking ahead - both to the rest of this basketball campaign and the future.
We want to offer up thoughts and highlight those players from each class and each grade level some publicity to try and help them gain the attention of a college coach or two.

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="129073" first="Kelsey" last="Drake"], Wilton (2022)</strong>
Wilton’s [player_tooltip player_id="129073" first="Kelsey" last="Drake"] continues to make a splash on the hardwood. The talented junior has 219 points scored in nine games, adding in 76 rebounds, 42 steals, 32 assists and three blocks.
Drake is shooting almost 53 percent from the field and has made 56 of her 76 free throw attempts.
<strong>Morgan Brandt, Sumner-Fredericksburg (2022)</strong>
Checking in at just under 6-foot tall, Sumner-Fredericksburg’s Morgan Brandt has made the post her home this winter. She is shooting just over 55 percent from the field, sinking 59 of 107 field goals.
Brandt has scored 138 points with 87 rebounds, 16 assists, 13 steals and five blocks. She has 39 offensive rebounds on the season.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="129036" first="Ally" last="Hoffman"], Cascade (2022)</strong>
Cascade’s [player_tooltip player_id="129036" first="Ally" last="Hoffman"] has done a little bit of everything through 10 games this year. She has 138 points, 71 rebounds, 21 steals, 20 assists and has blocked three shots.
Hoffman is shooting 42 percent from the field and 63 percent from the free throw line. She has also knocked down 15 three-pointers.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="63634" first="Maddax" last="DeVault"], Nodaway Valley (2022)</strong>
Not many players have more offensive rebounds than defensive, but Nodaway Valley’s [player_tooltip player_id="63634" first="Maddax" last="DeVault"] has continued to find herself in great position. DeVault has 35 total boards with 21 of those coming on the offensive glass.
The junior also has scored 160 points in seven games to go along with 30 steals and 13 assists.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="163331" first="Hallie" last="Mohr"], Mediapolis (2022)</strong>
A true inside-outside threat, [player_tooltip player_id="163331" first="Hallie" last="Mohr"] from Mediapolis has had a phenomenal start to the 2020-21 season. Mohr has scored 164 points with 79 rebounds, 16 steals, eight blocks and six assists in seven games.
Mohr is shooting 49 percent from the field, 86 percent from the free throw line and 43 percent from the 3-point stripe.
