We want to offer up thoughts and highlight those players from each class and each grade level some publicity to try and help them gain the attention of a college coach or two.

Reggi Spotts, Mason City (2024)
Future college standouts just continue to come through the Mason City program. Class of 2024 prospect Reggi Spotts could be the next in that line of players.
Spotts leads all of Class 4A in freshman scoring with 144 points through eight games. She has also collected 31 rebounds, 14 assists and 10 steals, shooting 45 percent from the field with 23 made 3-pointers.
Carson Koerperich, Western Dubuque (2024)
In eight games played to date, Carson Koerperich has made life hard for opposing teams. The Western Dubuque freshman has scored 112 points with 56 rebounds, 39 steals and 30 assists.
Koerperich and the Bobcats pushed Waterloo West to the distance in a highlight of the early portion of the season. She has made 13 triples in all and has also been effective getting to the free throw line.
Yazmeen Whitsitt, Decorah (2024)
Playing alongside Bryar Duwe Bryar Duwe 5'7" | PG Decorah | 2023 State IA at Decorah, newcomer Yazmeen Whitsitt has been tough to stop. The Class of 2024 prospect is averaging 13.6 points per game, shooting 42 percent from the field and 44 percent from the 3-point line.
Whitsitt has connected on 11 three-pointers in just five games while also sinking 82 percent of her free throw attempts.
Sarah Brown, LeMars (2024)
Through the early stages of the 2020-21 season, Sarah Brown has a done a little of everything for LeMars. In eight games, including six starts, Brown has 88 points with 25 rebounds, 10 steals and six assists.
She has shown a strong ability on the offensive glass, collecting 11 of her 25 rebounds there. Brown has dropped 17 three-pointers and is also getting to the free throw line, attempting 32 shots.
Lucy Scott, Council Bluffs Lewis Central (2024)
In just four games, Lucy Scott has shown that she is a scoring threat. Scott has 54 points including 14 rebounds, nine steals and five assists for Lewis Central.
Scott is shooting over 37 percent from the field and 39 percent from the 3-point line. She has knocked down 14 triples in all for the Titans, who have 38 made 3-pointers as a collective unit.
