Getting it done can mean a number of different things but to me it means that those prospects were leaving it all on the floor. Their effort, hard-work, and dedication to the game really shined through in more ways than one. In this article we cover five individuals that were getting it done this weekend at the Legacy Classic. Each prospects showed that they are willing to do anything to help their team become successful and that speaks volumes to anyone watching from afar.
Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!
Emerson Ingvalson is a prospect that left it all out on the floor this past weekend. In each one of her team’s contest, she was doing something to help her squad compete. She was rebounding at a high rate on both sides of the floor, she was defending her matchup and playing help side to a T, and she was scoring when the opportunities presented themselves. When you have a prospect that is versatile in everything they do, it brings a smile to your face. Ingvalson may not be the player that is going to come out and drop 30 points on you but before you know it, she will have 10-7-5 as a stat line and those are the type of players that end up killing you throughout the duration of a contest. This weekend that was on full display in almost every game she laced up for. She was a top performer for two days in a row and I think that just speaks to the heart and hustle that she leaves on the hardwood, every time she laces up her kicks to compete.

Ava Hanson is talented to say the least. Hanson is a Guard with fantastic size and an experienced skill-set. In her team’s contest at this event, she was doing a little bit of everything as her group dominated everyone that they matched up against. Hanson is not only skilled, she works really hard. She runs the floor at an elite rate, she can pick off passes by the boatload on the defensive side of the ball with her anticipation, and her shooting stroke is silky smooth. I talked to their coach from this event after one of their games and he said that Hanson has a lot of college interest from every level, which doesn’t surprise me. She works hard and she produces, all while being skilled. If she finds the correct fit for college ball, she is someone that could be an All-American type recruit. She seems dedicated to the game so as long as she is put into a position to succeed. She is going to kill it.

Jensyn Storhoff is inevitable. Storhoff was someone that I highlighted prior to this tournament to start the weekend and she showed out in a number of ways throughout her four games. She may not of scored 30 points in any game but in every contest, she was a constant at getting her own, while making the others around her better. One of the biggest questions college coaches ask of a prospect when determining their collegiate level or division is, “Do they make the others around them better?” In Storhoff’s case, the answer is always a resounding yes, even if she isn’t having the best game or best day on the court. When you have someone like this, you can count on them to always produce in some shape or form and that’s what we saw this weekend. Don’t get me wrong, she was holding her own in the scoring department each game but her best ability is making other around her look great. That’s something that is hard to do consistently, no matter who you play with.

There is a lot I can say about Avery Sweeney Avery Sweeney 5’6″ Center Point Urbana | 2025 IA and her play-style but the thing that stood out the most this past weekend was how hard she hustles and works off of the ball. Sweeney is someone that leaves it all on the floor on the defensive side of things. She is a menace guarding her 1 on 1 matchup, while also being someone that can make some things happen on the offensive side of the ball. She was the first one on the floor or diving into the stands this weekend for a loose ball and that is just the tip of the iceberg as it pertains to her effort. On an Iowa Prep team that has some solid playmakers in each aspect of the game, Sweeney was one of the players that stood out the most to me while watching them compete. If she can keep up this effort and pick her spots wisely, she should see a lot of success moving forward in this sport of basketball.
Jordyn Rohlfsen Jordyn Rohlfsen CG Roncalli | 2025 State NE brings an interesting play-style to the floor. She is someone that understands her role on whatever team she is playing with and because of that, she is successful in most things she is attempting to do. This weekend it was a little bit of everything. She was shooting open shots in the half court, while running the floor offensively in transition. She was handling at an even and steady rate. She was walling up on defense and getting her hands on a lot of tips/deflections. All while communicating to those around her what was occurring at any given moment. Rolhfsen’s best basketball is in front of her. If she continues to work hard and is put in positions to succeed thats play to her skill-set, she should continue to see positive results like this past weekend. Something that is more than possible with the ability she possesses from what I’ve seen so far.
