How it all shook out in ‘19-20
Lone Star was terrific. The Longhorns were 6-0 in league. They were backed by Idalia (4-1), but the Wolves were the only other YWKC team to post a winning record. The other three – there will be two more, Flagler-Hi-Plains and Stratton-Liberty, this go-round – struggled, turning in an 11-46 aggregate mark. Of the newbies for this season, Stratton-Liberty was 9-14 and Flagler-Hi-Plains struggled to 3-17.
Teams – Arickaree-Woodlin, Bethune, Flagler-Hi-Plains, Idalia, Lone Star, Otis and Stratton-Liberty.
Which playoff team advanced the furthest?
It was thin. No YWKC team made the final eight. Only Lone Star made it as far as a regional final. The Longhorns were 20-2, finishing in a 52-45 loss to Fleming.

A quick, early look to Season B
The top-10 scorers from a season ago return, including the top five that were sophomores. So there’s a chance to develop talent here. Idalia and Lone Star appear to have the inside tracks a month before the twice-delayed season.
