Daija Turner (Village Christian 2021 forward, TCU Signee)
“Triple Double Daija” is an accurate nickname for the Knights senior forward as she did it once again. Another guard that will be crucial to Village Christian’s success down the stretch is Jasmine Gilchrist. The junior guard had an excellent all-around game with seven points, four assists and three steals. She was a big spark for a Knights team that defended well throughout this game. Gilchrist will be an importance piece over their next several games as they look to build during the holiday break.
