The Final Class of 2021 Rankings Update Released! (FREE)

The Kansas rankings refresh begins today, February 25, with the final update for the class of 2021. It comes three months following the November release. The months in between have found me watching ball games via live stream more than ever due to the pandemic. And while I am loving the access to watch games and see players I would not otherwise be able to, it is far from as great as being in a gym full of fans. I always like to quality check the popcorn and see which concession stands have some hometown touches that make you want to come for the food if not the game. Only one gym I have been to had concessions this season. Moving forward, the final rankings now includes 258 players. While a couple players were dropped because they did not play, two players returned (Wellington’s and Pittsburg’s ) to the rankings because they did. all told approximately 15 players were added. An added note, at time of the rankings release 57 ranked players from the class have committed to a college or university for 2022. Several more outside the ranks have also. Many others have committed to play other sports at the next level. The update for the class of 2022 is scheduled to released March 3, the 2023 class March 10, and March 17 will have the 2024 refresh post. Look for follow-up articles that dig deeper into the updates as we start looking forward to club season.
