Of the 42 points scored against the Wichita Heights Falcons, Zoey had 30. She was constantly attacking the Lady Falcon's defence at every turn with surprisingly good ball handling and foot speed, with a lethal pull-up and a step back or two for a little extra sauce. She did a great job of actually drawing fouls and getting to the FT line to slow down the Lady Falcon attack. Zoey is averaging 28.1 ppg on the season so far, and to get 30 against this elite Lady Falcon squad shows that she is not just cherry-picking. Zoey is a bucket on any defender.

Hope was always in the midst of those 50/50 balls, competed hard throughout the game, and played tough despite a rough night against an elite team. Hope did all the dirty work so that KMC could stay within range in a game like this. Her rebounding at her size is very impressive.

Game ball goes to Aaliyah! Freshman who led the team in scoring against KMC, but more importantly, led in impact in crucial moments of the game that turned the tide in favor of her Falcons. Her on-ball defense was suffocating, and her full-court pressure picked up as the game waned. She was constantly in the passing lanes and reaching in for steals, never giving up on broken plays. In fact, her biggest moments in this game were on broken plays and loose balls. She plays with really good energy, and it's infectious throughout her team. For as good a defender as she is and with really good arm length, none of it seems to take away from her effectiveness as a shooter, either.

#34 for Wichita Heights, Jocelyn is a strong offensive rebounder and was the key reason why KMC struggled in the paint. She does a great job working to get in position on the boards early in each possession, before a shot is released. As a result, Jocelyn gave her team 5 extra possessions during the game against KMC in limited minutes, with 8 total rebounds and 7 points in the paint. With Wichita having the size advantage against KMC, she wasn't used as much. The most impressive part is that she did it so easily and quickly; also, her impact on defense, guarding out on the perimeter as a big, is what will make this Wichita team too tough to beat.

#4 for Wichita Heights, Aniyah is a leader and solid communicator on the floor. She's a senior who could easily succeed at the next level in D1. Her game against KMC was a masterclass of mid-range and offensive rebounding as a guard. Her quick recovery on defense allowed her to lead the team in Blocked shots and steals against KMC. With her overall production on both ends, her athleticism, and her winning attitude, combined with her 1 play-at-a-time mental focus, I'm not seeing much of a weakness here on the outside looking in.

#0 for Wichita Heights, Jessiah was a game-changer for the Heights against KMC off the bench. Her defensive intensity and activity on every ounce of the court was unmatched by anyone. She caused countless turnovers for KMC and played the best on-ball defense I've seen so far this year in the state. In very limited minutes, she became the primary defender against [player_tooltip player_id='779208' first='Zoey' last='Buckner-Franklin'] in the 4th quarter and did a great job denying her a pathway to the basket and forcing her to make a tough mid-range shot while also denying her a three-point step back jump shot, in which Zoey was definitely looking for but couldn't quite find on her.
