Insider Exposure hosted the Apache Memorial with just over 310 girls programs. The 2024 Palmetto State Class had a good showing this weekend in the Hoop State. Lets take a look at some more players right here from the IE Apache Memorial in Part 2.
Jerchel Geathers-Washington Jerchel Geathers-Washington 6'0" | PF Carvers Bay | 2024 State SC – Georgetown HS – Palmetto 76ers Select 2024
Geathers is just starting to scratch the surface with her game. Geathers is very nimble with her footwork around the paint and moves well from the post position on the floor. Geathers can step-out and knockdown a perimeter jumper to keep the defense honest. Geathers is a multi sport athlete also competing in volleyball and track & field. Geathers averaged 7 ppg and10.4 rebounds this past for the Lady Bulldogs.
Morgan Davis Morgan Davis 5'10" | PF Catawba Ridge | 2024 State SC – Catawba Ridge HS (Fort Mill) – Lady Attack Fort Mill
Davis plays in the post for the Lady Copperheads. Davis moves well around the paint and has the ability to face-up on the perimeter. Davis averaged 8.5 ppg and 4.5 rebounds this past season for the Lady Copperheads (14-3). Davis was able to rebound the ball out of her area today and run the floor very nicely.
Christyonna Jackson Christyonna Jackson 5'10" | PF Dutch Fork | 2024 State SC – Dutch Fork HS – SC Future 15U (pictured on front)
Jackson has incredible instincts and footwork in the post area. Jackson covers a lot of ground on the hardwood and seems at times effortless in her approach. Jackson moves well around the paint and away from the ball always staying active. Jackson has exceptionally quick feet and footwork around the paint. Jackson needs to finish better at times around the rim. Jackson doesn’t mind being a mover-screener at times. Jackson’s best basketball is still in front of her down the road.
Jasmine Frierson Jasmine Frierson 5'6" | CG Hartsville | 2024 State SC – AC Flora HS – SC Future 15U
Frierson is like the ENERGIZER bunny at times while on the floor, she is constantly on the move. Frierson was able to get the ball to the rack at times today while setting up her teammates in the process. Frierson who also plays soccer for the Lady Falcons really don’t mind bringing all-out hustle at all times mentality to the floor.
Jakayla Lorick Jakayla Lorick 5'8" | SG Greenville | 2024 State SC – Southside HS (Greenville) – FBC Carolina Elite Parks 15U
Lorick was all over the boards today with her play. Lorick plays the game extremely hard and uses the ball screen well at times to explode to the cup. Lorick brings tremendous effort at all times and really runs the floor well from the guard position.
