Destinee Vereen Destinee Vereen 5'7" | PF North Myrtle Beach | 2025 SC (2025) – North Myrtle Beach HS – Confidence Cougars
Vereen was all over the glass today in her game Prep Girls Hoops took in. Vereen finished on contact and at times just overpowered players down low. Vereen had 14 rebounds according to out stats in the game. Destinee saw good minutes this past season for the Lady Chiefs who made a run to the Class 4A State Championship Game.
Tionna Pettus Tionna Pettus 5'8" | PF Bessemer City | 2025 NC (2025) – Comenius (Fort Mill) – Queen City Ballers
Pettus confirmed to Prep Girls Hoops is that she will be attending Hunter Huss HS (Gastonia, NC) this coming fall. Pettus was great all day long in the paint. Tionna averaged 12.4 ppg last season for the Lady Knights. Tionna does a good job defending on the ball and going to work inside the paint.
Monasia Clinkscales Monasia Clinkscales 5'6" | PG Westside | 2026 State SC (2026) – Glenview M.S / TL Hanna HS (Anderson) – Carolina Hawks Clinkscales (pictured on front)
Clinkscales has been playing this past month with the varsity program at TL Hanna. Clinkscales a point guard was very efficient today with her shooting and attacking the basket. Monasia dropped some good passes to teammates in return in a lopsided victory for the Carolina Hawks program.
Jaida McClure Jaida McClure 5'9" | PG Providence Day | 2026 State NC (2026) – Comenius (Fort Mill) – Queen City Ballers
McClure informed Prep Girls Hoops that she will be transferring to Northside Christian (NC) this coming school year. McClure was the best player in the 2026 Palmetto State Class before her departure to the Hoop State. McClure is extremely crafty with the ball in her hands and really has a good feel to the game. Jaida knows how to change speeds and she does a exceptional job of switching hands on the way to the basket.
JaNyia Cunningham JaNyia Cunningham 6'1" | SF South Pointe | 2027 State SC (2027) – Dutchmen Creek M.S. (Rock Hill) – Queen City Ballers
Cunningham nicknamed “G-Money” was a big presence down in the paint for her team. Ja’Nyia played extremely aggressive for just enetering the 7th grade. Cunningham worked for position and rebounded the ball very well on both ends of the floor.
Khalia Hartwell Khalia Hartwell 6'5" | C Westside | 2027 State SC (2027) – McCants M.S. / TL Hanna HS (Anderson) – Carolina Hawks Clinkscales
Hartwell 6’2 has been getting in some action on TL Hanna HS team this summer. Hartwell just like Cunningham both 7th graders will be names to remember going down the road. Hartwell does a good job of keeping the ball up high and receiving it.
