<strong>#3| 2024 5’8 PG [player_tooltip player_id="238691" first="Kiyomi" last="McMiller"] – Palloti – Fairfax Stars </strong>
[player_tooltip player_id="238691" first="Kiyomi" last="McMiller"] is one of the few players in the elite group of ball handlers in the DMV. Even since middle school her spectacular ball handling has allowed her to compete and to thrive at a high level. Her jump shot has slowly but surely developed over the years and it will only get better in the years to come. McMiller’s recent growth spurt has improved her defense immensely, and she continues to get a lot of steals because of her scrappiness. [player_tooltip player_id="238691" first="Kiyomi" last="McMiller"] is going to thrive in a big way at the high school level, and this upcoming season is sure to be a breakout one for her.
<strong>#2| 2024 5’8 PG [player_tooltip player_id="238690" first="Kyndal" last="Walker"] – St. John’s – Team Takeover </strong>
If you’re looking for an unbelievably good overall player then look no further than [player_tooltip player_id="238690" first="Kyndal" last="Walker"]. She drives the basketball like a college level point guard already, and she also always gets to the free throw line. Walker has phenomenal shooting technique, which is why she shoots such a high percentage from the free throw line, and her ability to make open shots is incredible. Losing [player_tooltip player_id="18351" first="Azzi" last="Fudd"] was a big loss for the St. John’s Cadets, but elite level underclassmen players like [player_tooltip player_id="238690" first="Kyndal" last="Walker"] are the future for this team and the future is looking very bright.
<strong>#1| 2024 5’9 PG [player_tooltip player_id="238689" first="Madisen" last="McDaniel"] – Bishop McNamara – Team Takeover </strong>
[player_tooltip player_id="238689" first="Madisen" last="McDaniel"] sits atop this list for many reasons but the main reason is her basketball IQ. The Bishop McNamara Mustangs are set to have a breakout season and she is a very key player. As a pass first guard, McDaniel meshes perfectly with the McNamara upperclassmen scorers who have experience finding the open space to knock down shots. Her facilitation skills really elevate the offense to an elite level, and, with her size, McDaniel is also able to make a big impact defensively. This upcoming season will be filled with [player_tooltip player_id="238689" first="Madisen" last="McDaniel"] highlights as she continues to showcase her already college level talent.
