Desta Trammell (Lady Royals 17U, PG, 2023) showed off her shot from behind the three point line on multiple occasions always making sure her team was in the competition. She did well moving without the ball exposing the gaps on defense in order to show off her shot. She is aggressive on defense even grabbing steals while pressing that quickly convert to two points for her team.
Madison Powell (Team Curry 16U UAA, SG, 2023) was knocking down three pointers late in a tight game against a top SC team showing her confidence from behind the three point line. She used ball fakes to get around her opponents and show off a midrange jump shot, too. She does well seeing the floor finding the open areas to dish the ball to her teammates or show off her stroke.
Jyana Salton Jyana Salton 5'9" | PG Porter Ridge | 2023 State NC (Charlotte Lady Monarchs, PG, 2023, pictured above) picks the pocket of her opponents and takes them the other direction turning her defense into offense. She has some nice range showing off her ability to shoot from anywhere, and her shot is hard to block with its high arc. She makes smart decisions in transition pulling up for jump shots when she doesn’t have the numbers in her favor or taking it all the way to the basket when she’s able to go one on one.
Mila Holloway Mila Holloway 5'9" | PG Legacy Early College | 2024 State SC (Carolina Flames 16U EYBL, PG, 2024) was ready to ball right from the jump as she grabbed the possession and scored two points in seconds. On her opponents’ first possession, she grabbed a steal and scored another fast break lay up. She followed that up with a nice three pointer showing her ability to score from anywhere. She drove the ball with ease scoring through contact. She made smart passes to her teammates making sure she was put in the assists category as well.
