2022’s That We Want To See At The Prep Hoops Top 250 – Part 1
Tadassa Brown Tadassa Brown 6'4" | C Brooklyn Columbia Central | 2022 State MI (C, Brooklyn Columbia Central)
Brown has cemented herself among the top post players in the state. She’s an unmovable force under the rim and a double-double threat every game. Brown could send the state a big message at the Top 250.
Asia Cochran Asia Cochran 5'8" | SG Westfield Prep | 2022 State MI (SG, Westfield Prep)
College coaches, you should want to see Cochran at the event. She’s an elite defender that can guard the entire length of the floor. She’s an efficient shooter and multi level scorer as well.
Kayla Giroux Kayla Giroux PF Flat Rock | 2022 State MI (PF, Flat Rock)
Giroux is a really tough cover for opposing defenses. She’s so shifty and slick under the rim that it drives defenders crazy. Giroux is fun to watch as she attacks the glass and grabs boards you think she no chance at.
Mya Hicks (CG, Ann Arbor Pioneer)
Hicks is an elite perimeter defender. Let’s face it, defense still wins championships. That being said, Hicks is the type of lockdown defender that put a team closer to a title.
Abbey Kimball Abbey Kimball 5'10" | PG Grand Rapids West Catholic | 2022 State #63 Nation MI (PG, Grand Rapids West Catholic)
Kimball is an elite point guard on a national scale. The Michigan State commit is a must see player in the state this coming high school season. We’d like to see her showcase her game at the Top 250.
Mackenzie Miller Mackenzie Miller 6'0" | PF Schoolcraft | 2022 State MI (PF, Schoolcraft)
Miller is an old school gritty power forward. She’s not afraid to do the dirty work. Whether that involves setting tough screens or battling for a second chance bucket, Miller is willing to do it.
Abby Rey Abby Rey SF Midland Dow | 2022 State MI (SF, Midland Dow)
Rey has turned into an absolute weapon off the ball. She can score at multiple levels and doesn’t pause when the ball hits her hands. Rey could draw a lot of eyes at the Top 250.
Amanda Roach Amanda Roach CG Hartland | 2022 State MI (CG, Hartland)
Roach is one of the grittiest guards I’ve seen in the state. She’s a tough as nails 2 way player. Roach can attack the defense off the dribble and finish at the rim or pull up on a dime.
Aiyanna Tanksley Aiyanna Tanksley 5'10" | SF Detroit Cody | 2022 State MI (SF, Detroit Cody)
Tanksley is a terrific athlete coming off the wing with hard cuts to the bucket. She has the chance to make a ton of noise in the PSL next high school season. We’d like to see her flaunt her skills in Grand Rapids.
Brooke Toigo Brooke Toigo PG Forest Hills Eastern | 2022 State MI (PG, Forest Hills Eastern)
The Grand Rapids area is blossoming with talent so we can’t let Toigo escape the eyes of college coaches. She could be one of the top returning lead guards in the area next year.
