Head Coach Cameron Pridemore has a young talented team, led by two Senior Guards, ready to execute an up-tempo game plan.  The Lady Centurions have a legion's worth of quality depth with a ton of hustle.  It seems as if the entire team is ranked here on Prep Girls Hoops or will be by the next time our ranking comes out.

Jaya McClure Jaya McClure Jaya McClure 5'6" | PG Christian Academy Louisville | 2022 State KY - ’22  5’6"/PG - Christan Academy  All Ohio 17U EYBL  Ohio University

McClure looks the part.  The way she moves just says Basketball of a Division 1 Basketball player having just committed to Ohio University a day or two before I visited practice. She is confident spotting up to shoot the open three and has good forward shot placement. Most impressive was her dedication by continuing to shoot through the water break.

On defense, she springs the trap or stops the ball to disrupt the break and limits penetration on the perimeter.  She uses her speed to regularly chase down long rebounds.  With the ball in hand, she is a penetrator with a great-looking floater.  As a distributor, she finds open teammates with cross-court passes or up-court feeds on the break.

Abigail Embry Abigail Embry Abigail Embry 5'9" | SG Christian Academy Louisville | 2022 State KY - ’22  5’8"/SG -  Christian Academy  Kentucky Premier

While watching shooting drills I assumed Embry was a Shooting Guard until I saw her handling the ball like a Point Guard during scrimmage play.  She has great quickness, is a crisp passer with a high release three-point shot, and is especially effective on a baseline drive.

In transition, she runs the floor and uses good spacing to be open for the pass.  She helps spring the trap in the press and looks to steal the pass and score

She has had some contact from Spalding and plans to study Psychology where ever she ends up.

Mariah Knight Mariah Knight Mariah Knight 6'1" | PF Butler | 2024 State KY - ’24  6’2"/PF  - Christian Academy  .

Knight is a good passer for the High Post finding shooters in the corner and on the wing.  She has a great short corner shot an elbow jumper and follows her shot.to score off the boards.  She is great at sealing off in the post and has a couple of different moves.  Knight is also an effective shot blocker.

She has had some contact from Alabama A&M, Bellarmine, Cincinnati, and Murray State.

Savannah Gardner Savannah Gardner Savannah Gardner 6'0" | SF Christian Academy Louisville | 2024 State KY - ’24  6’0"/SF -  Christian Academy

Gardner is a glass eater but is neither an in-zone nor out-of-zone rebounder she is something in between that I don't have words for.  She has good soot speed, runs the floor, posts up, handles the ball with either hand, hits open three in transition, or on the kick-out pass.

She is dangerous off the ball on Defense.  If you don’t know where she is she is about to take the ball, secure a tie-up or knock the ball away.

Addison Kincaid Addison Kincaid Addison Kincaid 6'3" | C Sacred Heart Academy | 2025 State KY - ’25  6’1"/C -  Christian Academy

At times Kincaid is a bit too unselfish with the ball, but this is understandable while playing on a team with so many good scoring options.  She is a good Big to Big passer, has good speed with the ball, handles it in open court, displayed a good baseline drive from the wing, and finishes high with the ball.

Most impressive was a play when she ran full court to block a shot at the hoop after a turnover.

Hailey Mueller Hailey Mueller Hailey Mueller 5'9" | SF Christian Academy of Louisville | 2022 State KY - ’22  5’8"/SF - Christian Academy  Indy Gym Rats Team Dana

Mueller sets and gets open on cross screens with a highly consistent short jumper.

She intends to Major in Business/Economics with a Neuroscience Minor and had been in contact with Army before a coaching change there.at the United States Military Academy.

Ella Daniels Ella Daniels Ella Daniels 5'10" | CG Christian Academy Louisville | 2024 State KY - ’24  5’9"/SG - Christian Academy

Daniels pushes tempo on the break, penetrates to score, and is a long athletic shooter.  She shoots a high release three with confidence.

Bailee Duck Bailee Duck Bailee Duck 5'8" | SG Assumption | 2025 State KY - ’25  5’7"/PG - Christian Academy  F.O.C.U.S.
