Broughton-Farmville Central Game Report
Farmville Central took down Broughton 71-36 in a non-conference battle between Pitt and Wake County Thursday. The Jaguars had a number of players step up, but the Capitals also saw multiple prospects play at a high level despite what the score indicated. Prep Girls Hoops NC takes a look at some of the top performers from this contest.

Junior guard [player_tooltip player_id="219222" first="Kalyn" last="Baker"] has become a go to scoring option this season for the Farmville Central Jaguars. She’s been on a hot streak from the outside and has facilitated the offense for her team on a consistent basis. Baker is disciplined defensively, gets out in transition and can create shots for herself and her teammates.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="116892" first="Journee" last="McDaniel"] (Farmville Central 2022 guard)</strong>
One of the top unsigned seniors in the 252 area code, [player_tooltip player_id="116892" first="Journee" last="McDaniel"] is an efficient prospect that fills up the stat sheet every night for the Jaguars. Whether it’s rebounding, making good passes, or finding the right shot, she puts herself and her team in the right position to succeed. McDaniel will be one of the focal points for Farmville Central as they look to reach the 2-A state championship for a fourth consecutive season.
<strong>Khloe Miller (Broughton 2024 forward)</strong>
Khloe Miller from Broughton is a 2024 forward with a lot of potential and she dominated on the offensive glass in this game. Most of her buckets came from second chance looks and she blocked a number of shots at the rim. Miller had a 20-20 performance against Farmville Central and will be a key piece for the Capitals as they enter Cap-7 conference play.
