NC Lady Phenom Top 80: Six Feet and Above

She can step out and stretch the defense with her three-point shooting ability. She has good enough handles to be able to get a steal and finish in transition. Several back to basket moves in the paint that included step through and fade away jumper. One more thing that really stood out to me is her shot blocking. She has nice touch around the rim and has learned to create space with her fade away shot. Emma does a good job of using her size to post up for easy lobs. Rebounding is another key to her game right now as it allows her to get extra possessions on the offensive end for her team. She is physically strong and skilled. She brings a huge problem for her opponents because she uses her body so well to get position for easy buckets. Her strength gives her advantage on the glass to create extra points for herself and her team. She is fantastic at utilizing her size to get position down on the block for easy drop step moves. She has a knack on the glass to be able to go track down rebounds. She can step outside and knock down shots and has ability to create 1 or 2 dribble jumpers from the mid-range. She is excellent beyond the arc and shoots the ball at a high percentage. She is becoming a lot more well-rounded off the bounce as well. Sherill has very good insight to the game and plays it at a high level. All of this has resulted in several Division I offers and we can expect more as she gets even older.
