Holiday Bash at South Warren Pt. II

Yeah. I'm behind schedule for me. But I was busy watching SO MUCH GIRLS BASKETBALL. Once this article is done I still have 24 teams to write about from the Holiday Tournaments alone. And just wait until you see the All A Classic coverage. But don't forget to read this one first. Lots of great players in this one from regions I don't often get the chance to travel to. This might be the only place to read about them this year and a few of them are Seniors. Don't miss out on them, Coach. [player_tooltip player_id="106132" first="Halle" last="Langhi"] - ’22 6’3"/C - Marshall County Langhi has a well-developed post-up game with a baby hook over her left shoulder, a very quick pivot/turn move, a power dribble turnaround jumper 3 to 4 footer over the left or right shoulder, a left-handed floater near the basket, and the ability to seal off a fronting defender to receive lob passes for the layin. She also makes free-throw line jumpers and her free throws. She tallied 18 points, 11 rebounds when I was watching and averaged 17 points, 8 rebounds during the tournament. [player_tooltip player_id="254285" first="Skylar" last="Waller"] - ’25 5’1"/PG - Marshall County Waller is a talented, hard-driving, young Point Guard that is sure to be a featured player for a few more seasons. She made 93.3% of her foul shots during the tournament and averaged 10 points and 3.5 rebounds, which is several for a Point Guard. She scored 16 points and had 7 rebounds while making al 8 of her free throws during the Championship game, which I attended. [player_tooltip player_id="290219" first="Jada" last="Driver"] - ’22 5’11"/SF - Marshall County Driver scored 9 points, shooting 3 of 9 from three-point range, and averaged 15 points, making 50% of her three-point shots in the tournament (18/36). She made a wing lob pass for an assist and made threes from the top and both wings. [player_tooltip player_id="167110" first="Hailee" last="Johnson"] - ’24 5’8"/CG - Owensboro Catholic Johnson averaged 13 points while making 55% of her threes during the tournament and made 5 of 6 free throws down the stretch to seal a 3 point win in the Championship game. Those free throws were 5 of her team's final 7 points in the game. She stays after the ball for a 4-foot jumper, a two-dribble blowby from the left wing for a layup, a layup high off the glass through contact, and the following free throw. During press defense, she scored a layup off a loose ball and tracked down a deflected pass for a steal and then made an assist to a teammate open under the hoop on the break for a layin. [player_tooltip player_id="254278" first="Karmin" last="Riley"] - ’25 5’6"/CG - Owensboro Catholic Riley averaged 12 points while shooting 41% from three-point range and scored 21 points in the championship game. She made multiple threes from the left corner and some from both wings. Katie Riney - ’23 5’6"/CG - Owensboro Catholic Riney grabbed 8 rebounds and scored 9 points and averaged 9.75 points, 6.5 rebounds, and made 50% of her three-point attempts. She made 2 crucial free throws down the stretch to help seal a 3 point win. [player_tooltip player_id="254284" first="Grace" last="Bale"] - ’25 5’4"/SG - Taylor County Bale averaged 11.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and made 90% of her free throws in the tournament. She made an assist from the corner to a teammate on a dive cut and another assist for a layup to a teammate running the floor. She scored on a left-handed curling drive for a layup, a layup through heavy contact, and the free throw to follow. [player_tooltip player_id="239839" first="Riley" last="Sprowles"] - ’25 5’8"/SG - Taylor County Srpowels made a difficult runner in the lane and made a floater after a dive cut on a feed pass from the corner. She tallied 10 points and 9 rebounds.

Halle Langhi Halle Langhi 6'1" | C Marshall County | 2022 State KY - ’22 6’3"/C - Marshall County
