Dominika Paurova Dominika Paurova 6'1" | SF Winston Salem Christian National | 2023 State FL | Winston Salem Christian
Paurova is versatile as she can play well all over the court. She can certainly cut from block to block knowing exactly how to score the ball when she gets the pass. She also plays well on the perimeter getting plays going elsewhere or showing off a shot from deep. She’s patient when making her move to the basket showing off some nice handles along the way. She runs the floor well being able to score in transition.
Seyna Diggs Seyna Diggs 6'2" | SF Winston-Salem Christian National | 2023 NC | Winston Salem Christian
If you want someone running a perfect pick and roll offense, Diggs is your girl. This shows her IQ on the court being able to time her moves perfectly in order for her to get the pass and score. Her tall presence inside makes it a battle for every rebound, and she knows exactly how to quickly score offensive rebounds when the opponents are still trying to recover on defense.
Jamaiya Bass Jamaiya Bass 5'11" | SF Southern Wayne | 2023 NC | Southern Wayne
Bass is another player that can do many things on the court for her team. She can grab steals and push it the other direction herself, or she can catch the pass ready to shoot it through the hoop. She sees the floor well finding the openings for herself with some power dribbles, or she can find her open teammates underneath the basket. She doesn’t shy away from any kind of battle close to the basket whether she is grabbing rebounds or blocking shots.
Lily Pereira Lily Pereira 5'10" | CG Wesleyan Christian Academy | 2023 State NC | Wesleyan Christian
Pereira seems to know exactly what her team needs in each individual game that she plays. She can drive hard to the basket if that’s the matchup that she wants, or she can step back and knock down shots from behind the arc. She can easily change the tempo for her team, too, busting up the court filling in lanes on a fast break. She has a good feel for how the ball will come off of the rim knowing where to go to follow the shot and grab the rebound.
Ka’Nyah O’Neal Ka’Nyah O’Neal 5'8" | SF Southside | 2023 State NC | Southside
O’Neal’s stat line this season has certainly been impressive. She is averaging over 30 points a game along with 13 rebounds. Her ability to play both ends of the court also has her averaging almost 5 steals a game. She can move well laterally guarding anyone in front of her and handling the ball with ease on her way to the basket.
Maya Robinson Maya Robinson 5'9" | SF NC GBB | 2023 State NC | NC GBB
Robinson is battle ready to play inside and versatile enough to handle the ball from anywhere. She knows how to finish at the rim even with players trying to block her shot, and she does well setting up plays to get her teammates open for their own points. She seems to find the gaps on defense with ease whether she is moving there with or without the ball. Her jump shot is consistent, too, showing off her ability to score all over the court.
Au’Nyah Teague Au’Nyah Teague 6'0" | SF St. Paul | 2023 NC | St. Pauls
Teague is aggressive on defense grabbing steals, and she pushes it up the court to score some fast break points. She doesn’t need to get all the way to the hoop to score, though, as she has a nice jump shot. She has nice ball moves to get around her opponents. Opponents need to be aware of her shot blocking ability when trying to attack the basket.
Alondra Arroyo Alondra Arroyo 6'1" | PF Holly Springs | 2023 State NC | Holly Springs
Arroyo (pictured above) has some good height on her, but she still finds ways to sneak behind her defenders whether she is making a hard cut to the basket or flashing up the court in transition. She does a great job using fakes to get around her defenders, and she extends her arms up and over them to score her points. She is a great presence inside to grab rebounds for her team, too.
