The Mount Carmel Cougars came into the IAAM B Conference championship game with an 11-1 league record and a 17-4 overall tally. They jumped out to an early lead over John Carroll (13-7 overall) and never looked back. They rolled up the score and took home their first IAAM title by a score of 60 to 29.

Tsion was on fire from deep, hitting five three pointers on her way to a game high 19 points. She set thw tone early and her teammates fed off her energy. She strapped up on defense and served as a secondary ball handler. She cracked 1,000 career points during this game and became Mt. Carmel's all time leader in three pointers made. She is still unsigned.

Anylah sparked the team with her dribble penetration which broke down John Carroll's defense. She dished off for several assists and finished with 5 points herself. Her defense was on point as she pestered ball handlers all over the court.

Caryne is a strong wing prospect with decent size at 5'10". She was disruptive on defense, using her size and length to deflect passes and rebound the ball. She contributed 4 points off the bench. Looking forward to seeing her development over the summer.

Myah is a pass first point guard with a high basketball IQ and good feel for the game. She is a very good three point shooter and a good team defender. She finished with 9 points and 3 assists while under heavy pressure most of the game.
<strong><span style="font-size: 1rem;">Grace Marchetti, John Carroll, 2025 Guard</span></strong>
Grace is a gamer. She is small but she can ball. She attacked the rim fearlessly and never quit even when the game got out of control. She scrapped on defense and mixed it up for loose balls. She finished with 7 points and showed off some good ball handling skills.
