The Prep Girls Hoops Marquee Event, The Takeover, absolutely over-delivered. Showcasing the level of basketball displayed by the Classes of 2030 and 2031. With so many skilled young hoopers putting their games on full display, selecting an All-Tournament Team was extremely difficult. However, that is a good problem to have when covering an event loaded with talent, upside, and future stars.

So without further ado, here is my All-Tournament Team from The Takeover in no particular order.

A rolling ball of energy, Burrell was everywhere on the court. Pressuring ball handlers, jumping passing lanes, facilitating the offense, and scoring both in transition and from beyond the arc. Busy hardly begins to describe her game, and effective does not fully capture the impact of her style of play. With her relentless motor and ability to influence the game on both ends, Burrell's development over the next few years will definitely be worth following as a point guard of the future.

We are only beginning to scratch the surface of what Tran is capable of as a guard. Already possessing a reliable handle and strong passing ability. She plays with the confidence and poise of someone far more experienced. Defensively, she embraces the challenge of guarding opposing ball handlers. While her overall play revealed a remarkably high ceiling for someone who has only been playing organized basketball for two years. A natural athlete, Tran has the ability to get to difficult spots on the floor with the ball and create offense in the process.

A true playmaker at the guard position. Anderson is comfortable serving as the second scoring option but has the ability to step up offensively when needed. An excellent passer in the half court and capable of pushing the pace in transition. She embodies the qualities of a traditional point guard in every sense of the word. With her feel for the game, court vision, and ability to keep teammates involved, Anderson has the potential to develop into a top-tier playmaker at the high school level.

Skilled enough to play and defend positions 3 through 5. Cunningham possesses a polished post game that is well beyond her years. Comfortable finishing with either hand around the basket and capable of stepping out and knocking down shots from 15 feet, she already shows a versatile offensive skill set. With continued development, Cunningham has the potential to become one of the most coveted players in her class.

Already possessing the build of a wing, Hawkins showcases a versatile offensive game. Whether knocking down shots from downtown or slashing to the basket, she is a scoring threat anytime the ball is in her hands. Defensively, she is not afraid to battle on the board. Using position to immediately turn rebounds into transition opportunities, giving her impact on both ends of the floor.
