The owner of ASGR Mike White and I had words so Dan Olsen ranked my daughter 200 at the guard spot as a freshman, she had over 100 D1 offers, won a National Championship at Texas A&M, and played multiple years in the WNBA but always remember, I’m not petty nor do I take things out on children because of who they play for, Chavez is #1, nor if their parents have gone sideways with me so here is my first Top 100, remember it’s not what you do, it’s who you do it against and I really need to see you in person to legitimize anything I say, write or video, here ya go
#1 Aaliyah Chavez Aaliyah Chavez 5'9" | PG Monterey | 2025 State TX
Chavez is explosive and with an abundance of moves as well as the ability to defy gravity, she is hard to contain but she was like that when I caught her in elementary school and said she was a #D1Lock. She dropped 50 a few weeks ago, she can also drop shots from what seems like 50 feet away but her NBA range as well as her court vision has her on several college coaches shortlists
#2 Leonna Sneed Leonna Sneed 5'6" | PG SA Wagner | 2025 State TX
Sneed is nicknamed LA which is perfect because she is definitely Hollywood and she also dropped 50 recently against some good competition. I saw her in elementary school and thought she was heading to high school and the sum of that was #D1Lock but she can lock defenders as well as drop the mid to long-range but her taking the defender with either hand off the dribble is exciting to see as she finishes after the lick
#3 Aniyah Foy Aniyah Foy 6'0" | SG Cinco Ranch | 2025 State TX
Foy is long and athletic and has helped make her Cinco team a district threat in one of the toughest districts in the Houston area. She scores multiple ways, plays the passing lane, and blocks shots but her ability to take over a game is second to none, that showed when they upset Seven Lakes in the first meeting, I’ll be glued to LIVESTREAM for tonight’s rematch
#4 Vivian Franklin Vivian Franklin 5'8" | SG Greenhill School | 2025 State TX
Frankin left me speechless when I caught her at an Individual Showcase a couple of seasons ago and her ability to score however she wants, whenever she wants stood out and it has continued both on the circuit as well as high school but the platform doesn’t matter, her mindset is “you can’t stop me” and watching her use the stop and pop in transition or just elevating over defenders, she’s right
#5 Nataliyah Gray Nataliyah Gray 6'3" | PF Alief Taylor | 2025 State TX
Gray is a double-double waiting to happen, well actually it is happening right now in high school as she has helped turn the Alief Taylor program completely around and the thing about her is the fact that she’s so strong and scores with players literally hanging on her but hang around her game and watch her drop jumpers as well as rebound strongly on both ends
#6 Kenidi Glover Kenidi Glover 6'0" | PF Duncanville | 2025 State TX
Glover has burst into high school with a vengeance and never looked back. She understands how to score with either hand in the paint after contact yet she’s so strong and powerful yet graceful so seeing her just control the paint is very nice, but she can control on both ends by rebounding as well as defending
#7 Kaylinn Kemp Kaylinn Kemp 5'9" | CG Duncanville | 2025 State TX
Kemp has that turbo in the open court, try to stay with her and if you blink, she’s 3 steps ahead but I love her acrobatic finishes after contact, her body control is ahead of her years and that pull-up jumper with a hand in her face is hard to handle because “she’s long and athletic. She plays the passing lane and can control the tempo when she runs the 1
#8 Alaysia Gude Alaysia Gude 5'9" | CG LaVega | 2025 State TX
Gude is long and athletic but watching her for what seems like a lifetime has so many memories about “Lay-Lay” not giving me potato chips yet I’m bot salty, especially after watching her continue to progress because those strides are hard to stay with, in transition, her first step in the set is OMG, she can score mid to long-range and attack the rim but those blazing passes, with either hand, just does it
#9 Shiloh Kimpson Shiloh Kimpson 5'7" | SG Little Elm | 2025 State TX
Kimpson was a joy to catch on LIVESTREAM and observing her playing with her sister Amarach Kimpson just made me smile. Her poise under pressure was always nice, in high school, nothing has changed but she understands how to run a team, that’s big at this stage and she can score either using the jumper or attacking the basket yet her court-vision ai isn’t bad either
#10 Ruke Ogbevire Ruke Ogbevire 5'7" | CG Fulshear | 2025 State TX
Ogbevire has been HS ready since elementary and yes my dear Watson, she has made a lasting impression on those who didn’t know. She understands how to set the defender up to take off the dribble, she also has a nice mid to long-range jumper but the heat she applies on defense is always at a hunnid because “on the ball” she’s definitely one of the best in the state, period, all classes
