The class of '24 has several talented Power Forwards spread across the state. Her is a little information on several of them.

[player_tooltip player_id="239840" first="Quinn" last="Eubank"] - 5’11" - Ryle

Eubank is an athlete that can get up. She can touch the rim and has great straight-away speed. On the season she is averaging 13 points and 9.8 rebounds (48th in KHSAA) and knocking down 67.9% from the free-throw line.

She is primarily a rim runner and a player that crashes the boards. She is playing for a deep team that could start at least 7 different players so she can appear to be quiet at times while her teammates are making shots but when they start to miss her impact on the game is undeniable.

[player_tooltip player_id="231487" first="Mariah" last="Knight"] - 6’1" - CAL

Knight is a strong post-up option with the versatility to play away from the basket. She put up 12.6 points and 7.6 rebounds per game this year. She shot 67.9% at the stripe and was even able to step out to shoot the three a few times.

I am hoping whoever her next Coach is will try to incorporate a little more movement into the offense for post-players and not just to help Knight and a few other talented bigs on the team showcase more of their talents.

[player_tooltip player_id="398020" first="Destiny" last="Jones"] - 5’11" - Central

Jones is so successful in running the floor and receiving accurate up-the-street passes she turns into buckets that I feel like I don't really know how good she is otherwise. She led Central in scoring and rebounding with averages of 15.4 and 7.7 per game while making 60.4% of her field goals which ranks her at 9th in the Commonwealth.

I would still want Jones on my team for what I do know. She is fast, has good hands, a high-motor, a ton of heart, and what seems like the stamina to sprint for days. To that end, I hope to attend a Central practice next preseason.

[player_tooltip player_id="398024" first="Delaney" last="Cooper"] - 5’11" - Assumption

Cooper is a Stretch 4 that has really started to come into her own this past season. She leads the team in scoring (12.6), rebounding (6.7), field goal percentage (50%) and three-point field goal percentage (38.5%) and makes 67.2% of her free throws.

She is slight of build and not extremely athletic so on the next level the Strength and Conditioning Coach will need to put in some work but she brings the necessary (and still developing) skills with her.

[player_tooltip player_id="304630" first="Payton" last="Acey"] - 6’1" - Southwestern

Acey is a Traditional 4 with a ton of upside transitioning into becoming a Stretch 4 but without losing any of her interior skills. She isn't quite there yet as a shooter but she is close (shooting 28.4% from three). Or maybe she is going to be a 3 with size at the next level. Too early to know.

She averaged 12.3 points, 6.7 rebounds on a KHSAA Sweet 16 Semifinalist team. Made 72.9% of her free throws and displayed the ability to shoot the ball from a variety of locations.

[player_tooltip player_id="398030" first="Rylee" last="Theiss"] - 5’10" - Pikeville

The two words that best describe Theiss are heart and grit. When watching her games if someone is diving on the floor, blocking out in the post, taking a charge, or just generally doing something that wins games but gathers no stats it is a great chance that it is her.

She averaged 9.2 points and 9.8 rebounds per game (46th in KHSAA) and made 75% of her free throws. I am not sure where she fits yet on the next level but I do know I wouldn't want her on my opponents' team.
