Tysonia Lowe Tysonia Lowe 5'5" | CG Marlboro County | 2023 State SC – Carolina Hoopers – Marlboro County HS (Bennettsville)
Lowe really tends to play off the grid over in the Pee Dee along the North Carolina border. Tysonia has been piling up some stats over the years for the Lady Bulldogs. She can really drop the floater on the way to the cup or score at the basket. Tysonia has a nice stroke from the perimeter, and she really does bring great court vision to the table with her unselfish play on the floor. Lowe averaged 21.3 ppg and 6.5 assists this past season for the Lady Bulldogs (11-6).
Tateyoina Harris Tateyoina Harris 5'11" | PF Camden | 2023 State SC – Palmetto 76ers Select 2023 – Camden HS
Harris does her best work around the paint in constant activity on putbacks and 2nd effort opportunities. Tateyoina runs the floor well while filling the lane in transition. Harris stays around the paint and works both sides of the block and never tends to roam outside of her area. She averaged 10.8 ppg and 11 rebounds this past season for the Lady Bulldogs (21-7) who lost in the Class 3A State Championship Game to Keenan HS.
J’Adore Young J’Adore Young 6'4" | C Greenville | 2023 State #27 Nation SC – A’ja Wilson Elite 2023 – Greenville HS
Young did a good job of patrolling the paint for her squad today. J’Adore was able to alter and challenge several shots while blocking 6 today according to my unofficial stats. She can step-out to the elbow and knockdown the jumper with ease. J’Adore does a nice job of sealing and working both sides of the paint and really understands angles and working around the cup. She will carve out space using her body and working defenders down low on the block.
Yasmene Clark Yasmene Clark 6'1" | PF Christ Church | 2023 State SC – A’ja Wilson Elite 2023 – Christ Church (pictured on front)
Yasmene really came to play today with her aggressive style attitude. She was able to get the ball to the cup at times with 2-3 dribbles. Clark really goes to her left-hand nicely and uses it to finish around the basket a lot. Yasmene worked for position today if she was posting up down in the paint and she was constantly on the look-out for balls coming off the rim. She did a good job of manufacturing points around the rim on putbacks on the glass and rebounding the ball outside of her area.
Alayah Birch Alayah Birch 5'9" | CG Northwood Academy | 2024 State SC (2024) – A’ja Wilson Elite 2023 – Northwood Academy (Summerville)
Birch is playing up an age group for the Red, White and Blue this spring. Alayah was able to slash to the rack today and score the ball in transition when she was in the game. Alayah brings good versatility to the backcourt and court awareness for the A’ja Wilson Elite 2023 squad. Birch averaged 21.2 ppg, 8.8 rebounds and 4.6 assists this past season for the Lady Chargers (22-4). Alayah has already scored 1,180 career points entering her junior season.
Alyssa Causey Alyssa Causey 5'10" | PF Wando | 2024 State SC (2024) – Palmetto 76ers Select 2023 – Wando HS (Mount Pleasant)
Causey was a pleasant surprise today with her timely buckets and effort on the floor. Alyssa wasn’t afraid to dive on the floor and grab a 50/50 ball or stick a nice perimeter jumper. She would hit the glass and rebound and work for everything she can for on the floor.
