Paige Huff-2023-Pulaski County
Paige was a key factor in Pulaski County’s defeat of reigning Class 4 State Champs Louisa County. She contributed 16 points, knocking in 4 3’s. She has nice range, smooth release and gets to the open spot on the court. She pushed the ball in transition, sees the court well and made good passes to open teammates. High IQ player, active on the defensive side of the ball. Plays with her head on a swivel, doesn’t get lost and active hands pokes away ball creating turnovers.
Breyona Robinson-2024-Hermitage
Brought her team back from a double digit deficit to send the game to overtime. Unfortunately her 29pt effort was not enough to secure the win. Breyonna pushed through early foul trouble, was aggressive defensively applying ball pressure, jumping passing lanes for steals and pushing the ball in transition. She was difficult to contain once she got going downhill. She drew contact, finished in the paint and hit a few mid-range jumpers. Breyonna had a great sophomore season, first team all conference selection and will only get better.
Trinity Washington-2022-Eastern View
Senior leader, 12pts and 11 rebounds against Powhatan to win the championship. Trinity is quick to the ball, great rebounder from the PG position. She guards 94ft, applied pressure on Powhatan guards on both sides of the ball. disrupting their offensive flow. She used nice change of pace and direction to get into the paint and was able to finish over taller defenders.
Ange Hyonkeu-2025-Eastern View
Another emerging prospect in the loaded 2025 class. 18pts in regional semi-final win followed by 24pts in the final against Powhatan. Energetic shooting guard who knows how to get her shot off. She can spot up from 3 and is skilled at putting the ball on the floor and getting to the basket. She used her speed and an array of moves to get to the basket and finish. She also stepped up down the stretch and made her free-throws.
Claudia Disbrow-2022-Glen Allen
Claudia had a great night, led her team in the championship win with 21pts bringing Glen Allen their first regional championship in basketball. She was aggressive from the tip attacking the paint, scoring in the midrange and from the 3pt line. She did a good job getting to the foul line and handled the pressure all night. Claudia stepped up for her team in the biggest game of the year!
Georgia Simonsen Georgia Simonsen 6'0" | SF Robinson Seconday School | 2025 State VA -2025-Robinson
Led team with a 21pt, 12 rebounds effort in regional win over Edison. Efficient night, missing just one shot from the field. Smooth post player, she knows where to be offensively and can score inside or out. Good interior defender, did good job with her defensive positioning and reading passing lanes. Is capable of guarding multiple positions with her agility and athleticism. Young prospect is ready for a big summer on the AAU scene.
Kalee Easter-2023-Carroll County
Kalee applied pressure from the jump ball, started off game with nice move to the basket, hit a deep three, had a steal and assist in transition. She was able to get what she wanted offensively, scored with deep range and off the bounce with a nice spin move and left handed finish. She scored in transition, through traffic and her ball handling and court vision were on display as well. Very impressive game from the point guard.
