I choose to stay close to home so I could catch some of my favorite teams in one of my all-time favorite AAU venues. Dickson Jensen really knows what he’s doing and All Iowa Attack is the premier event facility in Iowa. They have expanded their amazing footprint to other cities that I hope to highlight this spring and summer. The Program is Elite and really does it right for the kids!
Here’s who caught my eye from a tough Council Bluffs club chalk-full of Nebraska talent. Coach Ann Prince and Lloyd Williams both have girls on the team and it shows they are coaches’ daughters in their tough firm play. Love how they pushed the girls all weekend and fought. Way too many weapons in this group.
#15 Doneelah Washington Doneelah Washington 6'1" | C Lincoln Northeast | 2024 State NE , ETG Midwest Elite 2024 – 6’1″ 2024 Center – Lincoln Northeast (NE) – True post player with a lot of upside to her game. Battles well in the post and doesn’t shy away from contact. first time I have seen her live. With the right coaching and building, she could be a hidden diamond from the midwest. Her long reach and frame make her a tough matchup. On a very strong offensive team. She fills her AAU role by rebounding and rim protecting. Possible Texas schools have shown some interest. Would be a great anchor player for any program at a high level. Highlights at https://twitter.com/i/status/1385367817474609152 https://www.hudl.com/profile/15498148/Doneelah-Washington/about
#23 Britt Prince Britt Prince 5'11" | PG Elkhorn North | 2024 State NE – ETG Midwest Elite 2024 – 5’11″ 2024 Guard – Elkhorn North HS (NE) – The blonde princess of basketball per paisley my little girl’s description. If a 4-year-old says you’re good trust me you got game. The little girl watches a lot of ball. She is Paisleys Pick of the tourney! I could write a whole article about her game. She’s got so much length. Strong handles that are on a yoyo. She was slicing and dicing the girls this weekend which wasn’t easy with some tough defenders out there. She is a matchup problem period anywhere on the court. Absolutely love when she runs the show for the team. She makes the right play consistently and will be a very capable high-level guard if she continues to work and flourish. A high motor, relentless defender who is really fun to watch and how I hope my girls play one day. #25 Kennadi Williams Kennadi Williams 5'7" | PG Lincoln Southwest | 2024 State NE – ETG Midwest Elite 2024 – 5’3″ 2024 Guard – Lincoln Southwest HS (NE) – Kennadi might be a smaller guard but she is a force on the court. She has the capability to run the team extremely well. She also plays well off the ball when asked which most true guards struggle with. She isn’t afraid to take it at any girl. Her tenacity on defense and offense set her apart to me from the jump. High basketball IQ for all these girls. I didn’t think she would be able to play against length and she showed what tough nose basketball is all about and was a big threat for Elite. Shakey and flat-out quick. #0 Olivia Loomis-Goltl – ETG Midwest Elite 2024 – 5’10″ 2024 Guard – Bridgeport Public Schools (NE) – Olivia is a tough all-around player. The big guard who locks down her girl on defense and rebounds well. Fills the role for her team well and crashes and plays hard all the time. Ball hawk-type player who does the little things for the group. She is a very capable shooter and drives effectively. Plays great off the ball and showed me a lot of effort all weekend like most of these girls on ETG. Highlights at https://www.hudl.com/profile/15141304/Olivia-LoomisGoltl/about
#20 Neleigh Gessert Neleigh Gessert 6'0" | SG Millard West | 2025 State NE – ETG Midwest Elite 2024 – 6’0″ 2025 Guard – Millard West HS (NE) – The long stretch guard who rebounds at a high clip for the team. Aggressively attacking rebounds and put back all weekend. She can grab the ball and go downhill very well. A young talent who I see being a tough small forward at a high level someday.
