There will be some elite players and high quality talent at all levels and positions. We’ll preview the release by giving you 1 prospect from each position to watch for when the rankings come out.
POINT GUARD
Damaya Hartwick Damaya Hartwick 5'2" | PG Grand Blanc | 2025 State MI (PG, Flushing)
Hartwick is a grinder at the lead guard spot. She plays a physical downhill style of game. Hartwick likes to put the ball at the floor and go straight at the defense. She can draw defenders and dish the ball off in the lane as well as find shooters on the perimeter. Hartwick is a feisty defender that can get into the heads of her opponent.
SHOOTING GUARD
Jillian Fraser Jillian Fraser 5'8" | SG St. Ignace | 2025 State MI (SG, St. Ignace)
Fraser is going to make a ton of noise up north over the next few years. Trust me, you’ll want to take advantage of any opportunity to watch her play. Fraser has a chance to be an elite shooter in the class of 2025. If you give Fraser just the smallest bit of space, she can fire off and bury a jumper with ease.
SMALL FORWARD
Avery Lay Avery Lay 6'1" | SF Chelsea | 2025 State MI (SF, Chelsea)
Lay earned the distinction of being named to the BCAM All-State team as an Honorable Mention. Lay came in and was an instant factor on a quality Chelsea team. She’s a high percentage shooter and scorer that definitely has 3 point range on her jumper. Lay is already turning the heads of D1 coaches.
POWER FORWARD
Alice Max Alice Max 6'2" | PF Rochester | 2025 State MI (PF, Rochester)
I’ve been very high on Max’s game ever since last fall. She has advanced footwork in the paint on both ends of the floor. Most young post players just don’t look as comfortable working off the block as she does. Max moves well on defense, sliding across the lane to help. She’s a solid rebounder that can get a put back bucket at any time.
CENTER
Nour Beydoun Nour Beydoun 6'3" | C Crestwood | 2025 State MI (C, Crestwood)
Beydoun can play a very powerful game, finishing through contact and initiating that contact when it’s beneficial. Over the last year, she’s shown a ton of upside as a true post prospect. She’s ahead defensively right, but as she adds experience and develops a couple post moves, she could really dominate in the lane.
