During the final “live” weekend of the 2022 grassroots season, All-Iowa Attack hosted their annual Summer Finale. With a number of EYBL, 3SSB, BlueStar, and other top programs, it made for an outstanding event well-attended by college coaches from across the country. While my primary coverage area is Indiana, I had the opportunity to check out a handful of non-Indiana teams throughout the event. Below is a look at a few ladies who stood out for one reason or another when I was able to see them on Monday, July 25th.

, 2023, 5-10 G, Iowa City H.S. (IA), All-Iowa Attack EYBL 17U
– I remember seeing Kelsey when she was younger, and she continues to be a dangerous perimeter shooter with great timing. She hit some big shots down the stretch for AIA in their Monday morning contest with the Wisconsin Flight, but she also had a couple of nice rebounds and a big finish in the paint. She is extremely long, fluidly athletic, and again, she’s a really nice perimeter weapon. She will need to continue building strength before heading to Iowa State University in a year, but she can play.

– This was my first time seeing Sahara play, and she certainly stands out on the floor. She is extremely strong and physical for a wing, she’s vertically explosive, plus she has tremendously quick feet and change-of-direction ability. She is an in-your-face defender, and it looks like they task her with guarding the other team’s better players. She plays with a nice motor, and she’s a multilevel scorer who can make shots outside or finish in the paint. She is committed to the University of Oklahoma.
Peyton McCabe

– Peyton combines a fast, feisty, always active style of play, with efficiency, skill, and a nice basketball IQ. Defensively, she does a nice job on the ball for 84-feet, really making her matchup work by flying around and making them constantly change directions. Offensively, she plays with poise and control, and she seems to make the right plays/passes and take good shots. She has nice length, speed, and quickness, but she’s another one who could benefit from a little more strength before college.

(below) was the best 2024 prospect at the event and had some huge moments, Taylor might have had the most consistent weekend. Taylor is a solidly built wing, she has some length, and she’s a balanced athlete. She’s one of those kids who is tough to define by position, because she contributes in many ways. She can handle, she’s a tremendous passer, and she can knock down shots. She’ll rebound from the wing, she can defend three positions, and she plays with an outstanding motor.

– Allie was good throughout the weekend, and her talent/skill were noticeable. But they were beating teams pretty easily until Monday morning against All-Iowa Attack. Early on, she didn’t force the action, but then she had a stretch over about the last ten minutes of the first half where she had to have scored close to 20 points, attacking the basket, making tough finishes in the lane, and knocking down contested jumpers. Against some of the high-major Iowa 2023s, she showed why she’s a top 2024 nationally.

Davenport North | 2025

, 2025, 5-10 W, Davenport North H.S. (IA), All-Iowa Attack EYBL 16U
– When I first saw Divine on Monday, I thought she was a really nice, fluid athlete with length, she has some explosive ability to her game, and she can play in all areas of the floor…not bad for a 2024. Little did I know she was a 2025, until I took a look at their roster. Divine is great when she gets out in transition, she can make plays off the bounce to get to the basket or find teammates, and she has some touch from the 3-point line in the half-court. She is a versatile wing with good size, strength, and talent.
Addison Schneider, 2026, 5-9 G, Chaska M.S. West (MN),
Minnesota Fury
Blue 14U
– It took her team a minute to figure out their opponent’s pressure, but once they did, Addison stepped up and was great in all phases of the game. She is a long, wiry, fluid, and athletic wing. She can attack the basket for scores or create for others. She did a nice job of absorbing contact and controlling her body, but she also has touch around the perimeter. I also thought she did a nice job using her length and quickness defensively. As she continues to grow and gain strength, she’ll be a good one.
