The New Berlin native has been excellent all AAU season long, and when she started in Des Moines, it was business as usual. Bugajski is a versatile four who can play any role within an offense. She can shoot, pass, play with her back to the basket, create her shot, hit cutters in the mid-post, and so much more. I’ve enjoyed seeing her excel and playing her game against anyone thrown in front of her.
Jenna Pitz Jenna Pitz 5'7" | PG Ankeny | 2023 State IA
I initially noticed Jenna Pitz Jenna Pitz 5'7" | PG Ankeny | 2023 State IA after she finished a play in transition that I thought she had no business finishing. I love the poise that she plays with on the floor. She plays hard and makes positive plays every time down the floor. The Iowa native also has nice looking jumper. Even though it’s not particularly quick, she has a high and consistent release congruent with good shooters.
Lila Posthuma Lila Posthuma 6'1" | SF Prescott | 2024 State WI
I love watching Posthuma play. She’s a scholarship-level talent with room to improve. She sees the floor well, shoots, defends and has a lot of length. When I see her move her feet, stay with talented wings and block their shots at the rim without fouling, it’s an eye-opening experience. The more I see her play, the more I like what she brings to the game.
Rowan Klesmit
The incoming freshman at Neenah did an excellent job with the ball in her hands on Saturday. Klesmit is quick and decisive in her movement, and there isn’t any wasted movement, and as a point guard, that’s important. I think she’ll have a role to play immediately as the Rockets attempt to make a run to the Resch Center next spring.
Alyssa Bartlett Alyssa Bartlett 5'7" | PG Southeast Polk | 2025 State IA
I love guards who force the issue and play hard. That’s what Bartlett did on Saturday. She makes the defense react to her aggression and opens up shots for her teammates. Bartlett has quick feet and reads the game at a high level offensively and defensively. She also shot the ball with plenty of confidence and had the results to back it up. I’m eager to see if anything materializes with her in the next few weeks.
