Percy Wright and LBI did a great job of putting on another top-notch event just outside the Queen City. Let’s take a look at some of the young ladies we were able to watch play today.
Aaliyah was really able to push the ball up the floor today for the Lady Attack squad. She was able to get the ball into the paint and penetrate-kick at times. Aaliyah does a nice job of changing speeds and getting by defenders. She really shows good explosion to the basket with a quick first step.
Barker is a true leader on the floor with her game approach at all times. Sydney is a Wofford University commit and an energizer bunny at times when she hits the hardwood. She is a crafty point guard who sets the table very nicely for her teammates with work ethic and passing skills. Sydney just plays the game and makes the simple plays and decisions to help put her team in position to win.
Geddes is a bit of a stat sheet stuffer at times with her play. Cassidy really likes the ball in her hands as much as possible to make plays. She plays the game very aggressive if that means attacking the cup, diving on the floor, taking a charge or hitting a bucket from all 3-levels. Cassidy logs a lot of minutes on the floor and rarely goes to the bench.
Highlights
Thiel just produces every time Prep Girls Hoops sees her play. Caroline is still off the grid a bit and a late entry to the Grassroots basketball scene. She’s extremely athletic and active all over the floor with her play. Caroline is a good leaper and really does a good job of rebounding out of her area. She hails Rocky Mount HS in Eastern North Carolina.
Briahna Scott
Briahna Scott
Scott was a pleasant surprise today with her play. Briahna a left-handed small forward has a nice stroke from downtown. She was able to capitalize some breakaway transition buckets when she was not scoring from around the 3-point line.
